Cleveland/NE Ohio is a proud, historic town, BUT it has suffered greatly because of this latest economic downturn. It will rebound in due time.

@sophiegromit Latest economic downturn? Cleveland has been suffering since the 70's. It is in the heart and thick of the rust belt of the Midwest and Northeast. It is too Democrat to function.

Nonsense! In the mid to late 90's, under Mike White's aegis (when it was dubbed 'The New American City'), and a better economy, Cleveland was doing quite well, with plentiful employment. So it hasn't always been 'down and out'. As the west and southwest encounter drought conditions due to global warming and changing weather patterns, the Great Lakes states will become desirable places to live and for companies to relocate to. We have unlimited supplies of fresh water!

Since you said Cleveland is so diverse, I'm wondering why you didn't film any dark complexed peoples, as there are so many in Cleveland and they add a lot to its community. Seems you were trying to portray Cleveland as being all white?[2]
