likein the Bombardier 222s, dont like the 'First' Hull Trains Pioneers livery, recon its abit shabby!!! I like the MML (Stagecoach now) Meridians more. just a shame that Virgin have leased there Voyager 220s to Arriva for there new CrossCountry Franchise. they kept the Super Voyagers tho :).

Wish we had more choice of rolling stock through the West Coast Main Line tho! espeacily between Bristol T Meads n Penzance! we only have 220/221, First Great Western HSTs, and Scuds 158s!

Thanks, but you're on about the GWML (Great Western Mainline) On the WCML you have 321s, 350s, and 390s oh and one 90 due to the pendo that crashed. Virgin didn't lease any Voyagers away. Arriva just too the ones VXC had but gave the Super Voyagers to VWC.

maybe its just cos i see the voyagers around all the time in the north west that i'm used to the styling and not the styles of the 222's.i agree with you that they are better, on a level that there is more seats. people always moan about the lack of seats, so it's good that Arriva are taking over the Voyagers and chucking out the shop for more seats. Although that'll be missed on the long journeys to London =(

VXC should of got 8/9 car voyagers. That may of helped things...

yeah they should've. too much overcrowding. but im kinda lucky that when i go to manchester theres a high chance it'll be on a pendolino where there is a lot more space and you're likely to get a seat.

Thanks mate! I've always had the fear of ballast being flicked up when I put my head out of a HST set, but never been hit and never seen proof of it. Obviously it happens as you said... Thanks again for your kind comments!
