just watched like 10 bass covers of this song... haven't felt any were worth commenting on. Though you may not the be the best bassist I've ever seen, this was by far the best cover. You have great tone and great feel for the groove. There was a few little accents or licks if you will that I was like... "yeah" Great job man. I hate when people post negative and useless comments. Keep rockin.. hope to find more covers on your page.

@mattwhitesemail definitely i remember when i started out 6 or so years ago i tested my thumb on the bridge, the pickguard, but really i believe its whatever i play with that decides where my thumb rests

All I kept thinking was that 5th string would annoy the hell out of me playing this song (or any song for that matter lol). I don't think you use the low B once.

Maybe I'm just too old school but this is a perfect example why a 5 is one string too many imo.

I play a 5 string most of the time, including for this song and it feels fine. It took me about 2 weeks to really get used to a 5 string after only playing 4.

What matters is the groove though, if you have 4, 5, 6 or even 12 strings isnt the most important thing
