I have to say. The animation of Chikorita in this game looks a bit similar to the one in that SNES Gold and Silver bootleg. I don't really think they're both made by the same company though.

@NusuttoSan have you heard of a company(?) called S-GBC? When I put the game in a monochrome gameboy, the start up logo says S-GBC instead of Nintendo.

@WhiteLionness I have no idea, honestly. This is the first instance I've heard of it. I'm guessing it's a publisher of some kind (Sintax usually releases their games in custom carts with "Kwichvu" on startup). I know Winsen released a bunch of MD games that were made by other people, so maybe it's the same here?

@NusuttoSan Winsen actually has "Niutoude" trademarked in China. One guess as to what they usually use as their boot logo. :)

Curiously, the dump of the menu from the "Silver Version 12-in-1" cart-- the one with so many of Vast Fame's games-- also has a "S-GBC" boot logo.

reminds me of the chikorita in that snes game with the whole helicopter float and the razor leaf. overall, this looks like one of the better titles, cause the enemies were all pokemon. well, except the whispy woods during the intro.

Hate to say it, but the HUD reminds me a lot of that Mewtwo Strikes Back game by Yong Yong. (And Digimon Pocket, which they also made) That said, this (and practically any other game that isn't by them) looks a million times better than that.
