Original was sung by Noor Jahan.....who I think was more hype than substance or quality. She was called Nightengale of Pakistan......compare her to Lata Mangashker of India....everyone knows difference as to who was better!

Bro, you haven't perhaps heard Noor Jehan from the days when she hadn't had the surgery of her throat due to near-fatal illness. Young age may be an excuse but you still have time to do some research.

As far Lata is goes, I gather from informed people that she's a great singer. I have also heard that she graciously describes NJ to be her influence and expressly admits that Noor Jehan was a better singer. If you trust Lata's judgement then you may want to reconsider your opinion.

the girl has a low-pitched voice and the song is based on soft melody ... thats why it suits her better than it suited who sang original ... she had a high-pitched voice. At least, one legend is here.

This is NTM's Program Sangam on NTM's 3rd Anniversary. It was recorded in 2 parts. one in Karachi and one in Lahore. Every song was recorded with One senior and One new singer from NTM's Music Challenge Program. Greats like Munir Hussain, Masood Rana, Hamid Ali Khan, Ghulam Abbas, A.Nayyar, Nayyara Noor, Parvez Mehdi performed in it. All available in 4 audio cds. Dildar Bhatti was compere with Mishi Khan, Aroosa in its other part. Hope u'll upload his funny skits from that too :)
