judging by the boys wearing kilts, this probably goes back a bit and we used to always do our 123's in ceili with a skip or hop forward/over.

@bernhardgritsch The tune is called "If I Had Maggie In The Wood" it is often played by The Chiefatins" and is also called Also known as An BhFaca Tú Mo Shéamaisin? (Have you seen my James), Maggie In The Corner, Maggie In The Wood, Mussels In The Corner, Nancy Wants Her Own Share.

why do their skips of threes seem different then what I normally see?

@kardancer1 cause they're doing jump 2 3's with bent knees..not skips..

@katherine4611 This seems weird to me I have been Irish Dancing since I was eight I am now 21 and I was never taught or seen this.

@katherine4611 Also it might be because I live in the USA we do the walls of Limerick, but with skip to 3's only.

@kardancer1 it could be that, i do this dance with skip 2 3's but i've done these jumps for a 6 hand, apparently its an old fashioned way tht some dances where done and aren't anymore..
