@lowlowfoshow2005 LT1 is an iron block, and it's only 5.7L it's a heavy, heavy car, useless for road course or drag. For the same money, you could get an RX-7, a T-bird, a Camaro/firebird. Of something older, like a fox body mustang, or a GTO. Maybe even a Skyline.

theres no way u can get an impala ss for 800 dollars unless its a salvage title or completely fucked up in many ways.

if u check kelly bluebook the value of an 1996 implala ss with 50-60,000 miles is 13,000 dollars.

go on craigslist u will see for yourself u cant find a 1996 impala ss thats still in good condition, stock and low miles for less than 10,000 dollars.
