I'm with him on Single-Payer, but the "public option" is a bad thing. People will think universal is on the way for 4 yrs while the bill is being put in place. Meanwhile, only 10 of the 50 million uninsured people will have insurance as a result (according to the CBO). If ur not on 100% subsidy, u will see an accelerated rate of cost increases through fees, co-pays, etc, despite partial price controls according to Amy Finklestein of MIT. 80k yearly underinsured deaths in the U.S. will continue.
