  • Also, have any of you ever watched a Subaru commercial?

Their cars are NEVER pretty clean.

I'd say this is more what they had in mind, honestly.

  • you shouldnt be allowed to own a wrx, youre too stupid

  • @2190001 What is your logic?

  • wow have fun with your nice cars while they last, do you know what happens to a 800 degree turbo spinning at 30,000 rpms when draws cold muddy water through the filter into the turbine? bad things happen, warped housings usualy but i have seen them explode in other situations, dont stupid shit with nice cars just because you have money and yes rally drivers do drive through all kinds of shit in specially made rally cars with top mount intercoolers and high mounted and completely shielded filters

  • @justinnismo240 My turbo spins a lot faster than 30,000rpms and isn't drawing any water into it. Also It has a top mount and a completely shielded intake. Unless the water is up to my headlights I wont be pulling any through the intake. So don't worry about my "nice car." I don't have money to waste but I do like to have fun and wouldn't drive through a puddle if it was going to do anything other than get my car a little muddy. I have been through much deeper water in my WRX and did just fine.

  • @justinnismo240 lol BENCHRACERRRRR

Seriously dude. You cant just make up numbers about a car and then attack someone WHO OWNS ONE about it.

And you know what? If I had a million dollars, and I wanted to burn it, I'd do it. Regardless of you guesstimating how many ethiopians I could feed with it. Its mine, my right.

Atticus, Keep doin what youre doin man. Kudos for having balls.

  • obviously they are not aware that the engine will hydrolock(destroyed)if it ingests water thru the air intake.....

  • @mishman363 Fully aware. If I had a cold air intake that is mounted low and could ingest water when only running through a few inches I wouldn't have done something like this.

  • @mishman363 lol dude it doesn't destroy it you retard you just gotta get the water out as fast as posable if you dont it would rust its not a big deal you just gotta do it as soon as you are able to

  • @blue44411 Actually the major problem with hydrolocking your engine is that the piston rods can bend as the water cannot combust, if that happens your car is indeed fucked.

  • Puddle = mud? No.

  • god damn rednecks

  • @Kinkywetmommy how is that redneck? "oh i'm gonna buy an awd sports car and only use it on pavement..." pussy shit. If you want to do that get a rwd.

  • @SSGixxerSixxer listen guy, unless your fucking playing dirt 3 you shouldnt be driving these cars in mud they are "made" for pavement, they launch harder than a gay ass rwd and handle 50 times better than a rwd but dude go for it go and put your $30K car in the mud and ruin it, hope water gets in your engine....

  • @Kinkywetmommy i already saw your queer comments on the sand video saying thats what they're meant for. You're stupid as shit not to mention you probably can't afford one. And you obviously have never been in a high HP car. RWD can launch harder than awd if properly built ever watch drag races? not to mention most STi drag cars if not all are RWD go shoot yourself for even thinking you know shit about cars unless you look shit up on google

  • @SSGixxerSixxer listen guy im not gunna sit here and argue over YOUTUBE and get followed to other videos, why do you car so much, and i did not say thats what they were ment for, and of course you claim i dont have enough money cause you know my life and all, and yeah rwd can launch harder if you got fucking deflated hoosiers, but for 12-13 second cars with summer tires sti's launch way harder. but dude as i said i dont car about anything you say

  • @Kinkywetmommy You don't race or even own an STi so don't say it launches harder on "summer tires" that don't mean shit you dont get traction from summer tires you get hard traction from drag radials. Don't talk cars and not know shit. I had a single tirbo 300zx which spanked modified STi's in a drag. I also had built mustangs running 10's in a 1/4 mile. Don't post shit if you're gonna be a hypocratic faggot trying to sound like you know anything about cars. Build one than talk

  • @SSGixxerSixxer listen guy honestly idc what you build, what you do or who you do it with your some guy on youtube who has nothing better than to prove a point, i dont care about your gay nissan mustang or hardass gixxer, every car WILL launch harder on fucking drag radials but when your sitting on a public road your not going to use drag radials ive seen a vw gli FWD run a 10 on drag radials now put street tires and watch that bitch burn out for 3 minutes stis are AWD little wheel spin guy

  • @Kinkywetmommy LOL you say i talk shit... but your the one with your queer ass comment saying people are rednecks for taking a rally inspired car off pavement. You say i need a life... i have a greta life obviously. Its annoying seeing little douches on youtube saying shit about cars and not know anything about them. SO, my point being donn't leave a stupid comment and not expect someone to comment on your ridiculous thoughts. And if you leave a comment back your shit up, or shut your mouth

  • @SSGixxerSixxer guy, you dont understand where your typing on youtube, yeah the car is for rally but why are you taking the car in a damn mud pit, thats what rednecks do in their gay ass trucks, idc what you do with your cars your bike all i was saying damn rednecks putting nice cars into mud. which is retarded...... btw this is youtube guy congrats bro you proved your point on youtube heres a medal of honor

  • @Kinkywetmommy I apprecitate the medal now shove it up your ass for talking. What do rally cars drive on? dirt, gravel, sand, mud? thats weird...

  • @SSGixxerSixxer good job thanks for taking me back to elementary, this whole thing was me saying that these guys were rednecks for driving their nice cars into a mud lake thats what rednecks do with their lifted fords, but yeah guy your right they do drive in that shit but idc its their Daily Driver, i honestly would not do that cause im not a redneck. what ever man keep riding your gay huffy around town i still honestly dont car what you say

  • @Kinkywetmommy so only rednecks do this?

  • @Kinkywetmommy So rallycross or staged rally is for rednecks? I bought a WRX because I lived in the country were there are roads that run through creeks where you have no choice but to run through water or mud. Also I use my car on tarmac as well. It is a good all around performance car so hate me for having fun and using it as I see fit to use it.

  • evo intercooler in shit and wrx intercooler clean cuz its on top...

  • that evo dosent look like it belongs on anything but pavement

  • Where was this done? What state? Looks like Mid-west...

  • @JoeyandLindsay southern indiana.

  • 0:10 is what happens it evo's when they go off roading (white car)

  • isnt there another video of these same cars but with an SRT4 taggin along? O.O im pretty sure...

  • yeah, thats how use a Subaru. i love my Subaru, and it handles awesome offroad. got a 1988 Subaru GL-10 turbo station wagon.

  • Love the sound of a a subaru boxer

  • This is what these cars are made for.

  • that wrx sounds so so sweet

  • love it use those cars like there spose to

  • Evo & WRX in the mud is the car equivalent of two hot gals mud wrestling

  • Comment removed

  • guys, its a bug eye. chill out. ;)

  • I hope neither of you had a cold air intake. That's the reason I just have a short ram. I like to drive it in the rain and sometimes go through some water. I bet that was fun though.

  • Heck yea I take mine mudding all Summer long it is awsome. Then driving into town everyone looks I love it:)

  • dang who would get there nice car all muddy what a waste

  • its called awd for a reason. they are born rally cars made for abuse

  • lol that is badass

  • i appreciate you actually use and enjoy your car and not pamper it.

  • I'm glad some people understand its for fun and subarus are made for it. evo, not so much. lol

  • @Atticus1337 dude wtf are you talking about evo is a rally championship car..its made for this shit

  • @karsseboomh22 That Evo in the video was in pieces after running along with the Subaru off road. Also open front diff dosen't help much in the mud. Can an Evo be prepped for rally or be made into a decent offroad car? Of course. but a Subaru out of the box is much better suited for it.

  • @Atticus1337 You hit the nail on the head man. and I used to have an evo.. lol

  • @karsseboomh22 evo is a fwd car with a transfer case

  • @karsseboomh22 the only rally championship evo was the very first one they made, and they purpose built it specifically for rally. you most certainly can not buy a stock evo X and take it through the same trails as an STI, or a WRX for that matter.

  • @Atticus1337 evos are just as good as subarus of road if not better!

  • its fun as fuck?

  • @ss89NOR Fuck yes. That's what their built for. Unless you're on the track...

  • definitely fun, subaru's are for rally. i have 3 other cars i can use on the street, why not have one for the mud/dirt?

  • @ss89NOR those cars are made for that type of terrain........................... they can handle it dont baby your car all the time... yeah its not good on the paint, i still wouldn't probably do it to my wrx when i get one in the next year, but you gotta understand they can handle that terrain they were born to do that.

  • @ss89NOR

i know its 8 months later and shit.. but you dont really need a subaru if you dont know the point of why hes offroading his sti... smh

  • @xboxgamertagKLUTCH03 tards... i just said that i wouldnt do it with my sti... i know it can handle it.. at least i have an STI...

  • @ss89NOR to have fun, this is what its made for lol

  • @ss89NOR why do you own a subaru??

  • aahahahaha nearly drowned the evo ... cool video mate

  • even though its really short, I LOVE THIS VID!!!

  • how does mud and sand go through your FMIC and into your turbo? you do realize the turbo is pushing air through the intercooler, not sucking it through it. lol you have no idea what you are talking about man.

  • @Atticus1337 he doesnt even own a car....

  • @Atticus1337 ,,i would be worried about sucking in water and it being compressed in the cylinders,,,,,this is why they fit a snorkel to cars that they know they will be hitting big puddles

  • @Atticus1337 lmao, what dumb-ass thought it worked the other way around?!

  • @ironbloodus what are you talking about?

  • you do know that the turbo blows air through the fmic which acts as a heat sink and into the intake manifold, no where is it possible for anything to get into the fmic or turbo, grats on knowing nothing

  • whoa man. those cars are to new for that. go get an old 80's gl wagon. they are better for that kinda stuff, and it doesn't cost you much when you break them.

  • once you wreck either of them cars. let me get one and ill fix it and acually use it right.

  • now do you propose we use our cars? I figure rally is the only place for a subaru, the evo should stay on the street though. lol

  • rally is on light gravel, tarmac, snow. not 2 ft mud/ water haha.

  • have you ever even watched a rally? they have to run through creeks much deeper than that all the time.

  • yeah, when they do. they have cars that are built for that

  • Comment removed

  • thats retarded tho what about the FMIC on the evo thats get stuffed with mud and shit and how do u get mud off pressure washer what the hell do u think thats gonna do to ur IC fins

  • Good

  • i took my evo in the mud but def nothing like that props on that but i could never do that

  • who the hell ! goes thru mud in an evo... asscrackers

  • its a rally car....

  • Lmfao! The Evo is a lot better than the WRX, and Evo's are ment for off-road driving.

Between the way, puddles can cause a lot of damage to the car, so watch out for that beautiful Evo! =/

  • damn, you must be smoking crack..the evo was made as a awd street car

    wrx means world rally cross

  • Actually, no Evo isn't a street car.

It's mostly made for dirt, rally driving.

    Don't you think?

  • lol no, that evo broke its sway bar mount doing rallycross. it also lost all of its underpanneling and the front lip got torn off. my WRX stayed in perfect condition all year. Both cars where ran on the same track. EVO's should not be ran like this, they are not made for it at all.

  • Comment removed

  • WRX = World Rally Xperiment.

The only reason people say Evo's are meant for the street is because most Evo owners keep them on the street. They do dominate on tarmac.

  • NO I DON't... i think you may as well just trash it thru mud instead of keeping it a nice car... made for it or not.. evos are also for tuning and speed

  • wow, give you props for trying for sure. Not sure I would even try that... but it looked great ;)

  • SO SICK hahaha nice bro

  • nice, im just praying you dont have a CAI though lol

  • I was just gonna say the same thing lmfao

  • they are turbo cars...

  • and?

  • so they dont have like the low CAI like n/a cars do..

  • oh dear... yes they do, look into it, wat your referring to is the short ram intake that sits in the engine bay. What would have sucked is if they had the CAI intake that sits in the wheel well, which these cars can infact have. Well the wrx anyways i dont know about the evo, but i do know the evos air intake can sit low right in front of its engine depending on the turbo

  • not really a point in a CAI on turbo cars, because the turbo pulls the air in and which is later cooled when it goes through the intercooler. When it is getting compressed in the turbo it becomes hot so even if its CAI or Short ram it will still become hot, and thats why they have FMIC to cool it. I have yet to see a turbo car with a cold air intake... i dont know about Sti's but i know EVO's dont and most other cars dont..dsm's etc.

  • you raise a good point however if you run a CAI as opposed to a short ram intake on a turbo car you still get more air even though it is heated up by the compressor. Think about it, if you have a short ram your pulling hot air which is less condensed than cold air so you get less oxygen, but if you have a CAI you pull in cooler air that carries more oxygen, regardless of whether its heated up by the compressor or not, it just a matter of pulling in as much air as you can through the piping

  • it doesnt matter if theres a turbo or not. cai are designed to reach cooler air and the clsest source is usually low fender. specifically like the wrx ...

  • mmmm yeah but if you leave the little scoopy thing on, you are basically taking cold air right out in front of the hood. AND Cai's can sometimes have deadspots and mess with MAF readings. With a turbocharged car the cai does so little that it's not even worth it. You would be 10 times better off going with a bigger/more efficient intercooler with lower pressure drop or phenolic spacers under the TGVs to keep the intake manifold from heating up. An even better CAI when you think about it.
