  • darwin deez is d guitarist ???

  • oh god stop with the phony radio voice

how hard is it to go on the radio and talk in your normal voice?

  • Theft progression from newest to oldest: Coldplay's "Vida La Viva->The Songs I Didn't Write by Creaky Boards-> If I Could Fly by Joe Satriani->Frances Limon by Enanites Verdes->Ding Dong Song by Gunther->J'en al Marre by Alizee->Hearts by Marty Balin->Love/Heaven by Cat Steven->Dirty Diaper Blues by Baby Cheeks. Which seems fitting because the whole thing stinks.

  • the singer from creaky boards was not implying that coldplay had ripped off his song completely. he was showing how a song so similar to his received much more acclaim simply because it had coldplay's name to it

  • Ok

#1 Creeky Boards sucks and Chris martin wouldn't copy something so crappy

#2 Viva la Vida was writen a year b4 this douchers stupid concert

#3 I think Ill write a shitty song and in a year or so when Chris Martin writes another album, ill claim plagiarism and go viral on youtube

  • OKay, your fucking retarded. Get your facts right...

  • ummm how am i fucking retarded? you're retarded!! Douce!!! my facts are as accurate and spot on as a gay persons chances of getting aids (Which is almost positively so)!! So fuck off!! Creeky Boards had no claim whatsoever and im totally going to do the same thing next time coldplay releases an album!! and just so we are clear...U R A Wanker!!

  • gay persons chance of getting aids isnt very likely.. so your not very accurate and spot on with your facts.

  • @plaidguitar18 1. I'm not siding with anyone, but if I were a known & famous artist and have no particular melody in mind I'd rather copy a song that is unknown & "crappy" (let's be fair, that song of theirs was good).

    2. The lyrics yes, but not the melody & composition. When they were writing that, Creaky Boards released the song.

    3. Just because it's indie it's shitty. Just because it's not popular it's shitty. WOW! Guessing you think only mainstream musicians are talented 1s.

  • I like the coldplay song better but these coincedences are hard to ignore.

  • It's not even close to Viva la Vida.

  • fuck you jared morris

  • and one more thing chris martn was in London recording at the time and already demoed the song before the concert

  • god i hate when these people do this crap like saying that both songs have oh my god and rule the world and neither of them do exept coldplay says rule the world

  • they arnt even the same notes its stupid

  • "They've sold okay." Um, no. They're one of the most popular bands in the world and in this country. Extremely talented. Great band, and they're great live.

  • sounds different to me

  • "Music Plagiarism" is a very overused term that, considering artistic expression, shouldn't even be touched on in this particular case. Everyone who knows anything about music knows that there are only so many possible progressions for any set of chords and just because the melody of two songs sound similar does not mean you can throw these allogations around. If it was this easy, the entire rap industry would be a shitstorm of lawsuits.

  • a lot of songs have ALMOST the same chord progressions so it wouldn't be a surprise if someone had a similar melody with someone else. If someone from whatever country had the same melody with "whoever" band and they found each other out, probably the same thing would happen. Another thing is if someone COPIED THE MELODY of ITSY BITSY SPIDER or SESAME STREET's SONGS, how come NOBODY FILED A COMPLAINT?

  • Uhh because it's a children s program and I don't see many 6 year olds running around blaming Sesame Street of plagiarism. Besides it was probably intentional so little kids would remember it better.

  • my opinion its a small band (maybe big in america, but ive never heard of em) looking for a bit of publicity....

  • hahaha omg he referred to coldplay as being a new band lol theyve been out for years!!! i hope he means new to america

  • he is an asshole thats why.coldplay is one of the greatest in america and all over the world

  • Pretty sure it was a joke...he also said they were sorta big...and then commented on how they sold 300,000 copies in 3 days.

  • there is some similar tunes to this in eastern European and French country side music.

in Music there will be always similarity , it is something different from words and lyrics.

  • Creaky boards knew it was a coincidence. They just want some publicity off of this. I guarantee it.

  • i agree, they are a small (and shit) band. they just wanted some publicity to get famous...

  • i think its just coincidence that it sounds similar. i mean there are only a limited amount of chord progressions out there in the world. just like one of the listeners said, there aren't an infinite amount of notes out there so its bound to happen that musicians will have similar chord progressions.

i mean just look up "THE AXIS OF AWESOME 4 CHORDS". most of them end up having the same melodies because of the chord progression.

watch?v=qHBVnMf2t7w < link to AXIS OF AWESOME

  • Creaky Boards, Joe Satriani, Cat Stevens... coldplay victims... thiefs!!!

Coldplay sucks! viva la vida es ABURRIDO!

    viva la vida is boring...

  • So NOW I know what that Coldplay song was about.

The crusades you say... I don't think I'd have ever gotten that.

  • I think it's about Napolian not the crusades

  • Why would it mention jerusalem bells and roman cavalry choirs if it were about Napoleon?!

  • they sound alike in the verses...thats about it.

  • A LOT alike

  • So what you're saying is that, when Coldplay steals someone else's song, it suddenly becomes awesome?

  • I still think this coldplay, pornstar moustache fronted band, "Creaky Boards", and Joe Satch, fiasco is all a just a coincidence.

Adema and seether both have songs that sound similar. Adema has a song called "Promises" that came out around the time "Fine Again" did by seether that are kinda similar. Once again, I say coincidence.

  • And how sweet it would be to hear any song that this man did not write!

Now that i think of it..I wrote a song that i think Bob Dylan perhaps may have stolen a melody from..i wrote it only a week ago but lets be honest the odds of Dylan travelling 35 years into the future to steal a melody from one of my songs is just as likely as Chris Martins thinkin hey..you know that band Squeky board? me niether well i think i might go ahead and use one of their melodies to write a song of my own with it!

  • omg lol I agree completely

  • Creaky Boards' "version" (yeah, version...) sounds like hell, not good at all...

  • what the hell. coldplay wrote the song before the creaky borads

  • coldplay didn't rip off creaky boards. they both ripped off joe satriani. creaky boards just did a better job of disguising it.

  • i dont think so, i think the Creaky Boards song was just quickly wrote that song for publicity.

  • actually, no. creaky boards did come out with The Songs I Didn't Write way before Viva La Vida. Joe Satriani's If I Could Fly came out before both, and sounds exactly like Viva La Vida.

  • funny thing that no one says is that coldplay also totaly changed his sound using drums and violins and chorus's to sound exactly like canadian band Arcarde Fire.

  • coldplay cites arcade fire as their biggest influence on viva la vida. chris martin is a huge fan, there is a youtube video of him at one of their shows singing along... coldplay is also giving arcade fire a lot of publicity in interviews and i'm sure getting them a lot of new fans. which is great, they are an awesome band.

  • are you kidding me? this is a joke... this is worse than radioheads creep, which they actually admitted they stole it.

  • a shit load of mariachi bullshit bands were copied by joe then if this bullshit goes thru, check it out

  • My my, first they are accused of stealing creaky boards verse and then they are accused of stealing Satriani's chorus!! One time I can believe it is a bit chancy, but now that I heard it all together, it sounds like they have copied and pasted two songs together. But hey, I still think what they did, stolen or not, was better and catchier than either Creaky or Satriani, and I dont even like Coldplay. Great song and they deserve credit for advancing the ideas to a catchier tune.

  • its not like coldplay cant pay for the lawsuit

  • I don't think Chris Martin copied the song...I just think he is such an unoriginal melody writer that it is inevitable that there would be similar sounding songs out there. If he should be sued for anything, it should be for writing boring crap that's obviosly been done before.

  • Exactly what I've been saying, the melody is 2 or 3 notes, there's only so many combinations of 3 notes you can make

  • but there are many, many, many ways to arrange those three notes in a rythm, over different chords, at a certain tempo, etc. So the possibility of two songs being very similar is much smaller than you make it out to be.

Could this be a coincidence? Sure. But it's not as simple as sharing the same notes in a melody.

  • sounds pretty similar, but isn't impossible that coincidence plays a part, especially since coldplay has a similar driving beat so synonymous with music trends nowadays.

  • this doesnt sound anything alike

  • I don't care if you like Coldplay, I don't care if you believe Coldplay stole it or not (I personally don't), you still can't deny the similarities between the two songs unless you're deaf.

  • every song on the face of the earth has something in common with another song somewhere else. Give us a break.

  • And why are you telling ME this?

  • Joe Satriani already sued Coldplay. If Creaky Boards feel they created the song first then they should be sued as well.

  • It's probably tough as fuck to create something original in this day and age when pretty much everything important has already been written.

If Chris Martin was actually in the crowd, I'd be really suspicious.

  • Dkizzy, how can you steal a time signature and a tempo? Most songs on the radio are in the same time signature, 4/4. It's like saying that, since they are both songs, they both are played on musical instruments, and both are music, that they are the same song. No offense, but there's no sense to your argument.

  • Bad DJ

  • coldplays version is more fast paced and uses different instruments so it's kinda hard to tell

  • Is anyone else bumped by how jive this DJ is?

    Worst DeeJay Ever.

  • The joe satriani song, the tempo, the melody, the chord progression, and the time signature were completely stolen by coldplay

  • the singer has a mustache. lol. love when he says that

  • Man, do you guys have tin ears?? The melodies are different. The keys are different too. How are these the same songs??? I'm not a fan of Coldplay, but I do like their song. The Creaky Board song just flat out sucks. I hate it. I do believe Coldplay owes Satriani royalties. Those songs are very similar.

  • Satriani started the whole goddamn melody anyway. Satriana made the melody, creaking boards ripped it, and coldplay ripped them.

  • does anybody know that the whole music industry is based off of similar ideas. Jazz is all about using other licks from other songs. I dont see why this is a big deal, there are certain notes in a scale that sound good, so many people can stumble upon the same thing. Do you know how many songs share the same damn cord progression? And on top of that to say that these two songs are similar is pretty far fetched. Its like one lick thats similar. Dumb ass

  • Cat Stevens' "Love/Heaven"

  • its way too suspicious because not only one artist has called them out but TWO have..lightning never strikes twice in the same spot folks..

  • satriani is the best, coldplay is a group of lazy mdfckas, and satrianis song is more old, so this two bands of shit copy it, fuck period

  • Cold play Sucks

  • haha he is reading the article from Wikepedia word from word!!! Its true check it out!!

  • "coldplay doing... ok... in the us?"

    lol

  • this guy really sucks

  • you SUCK at radio. cut up the fucking clip. play each part without talking over it but explain beforehand what the audience is going to hear. have a strong opinion on it. tease the listeners when they call. you turned something that could have been interesting and made it boring and shitty. radio 101 dude.

  • It's proven Martin worked on it and demoed it 7 months prior to this Creaky Boards performance. You admit it's not an issue yet you're giving it more and more popularity and keeping the issue alive. Plus, you stupidly talk over the thing you want people to listen to. Just shut up and play some Top 40, idiot. And learn how to fucking read on air.

  • It's also proven that Satriani wrote the fucking song... Look it up. Everything lines up. They even ripped off the tempo... at least try to hide the theft in the background of your music, don't make it a blatant act.

  • Satriani did not write the song. He wrote a melodic song with no lyrics. Coldplay, if they did in fact plagerize, changed the song significantly AND wrote lyrics..Satriani did not write it..period. Also, this guy from creaky boareds sings on fucking bar of music similar to coldplays and suddenly the entire song was writen by HIM! this is absolutly ridiculous! If Satriani thinks it's his music, lets see if he can write music to match the rest of Coldplay's chart toping songs.

  • Satriani is way more talented than Coldplay. Learn to play an instrument and you will understand that. How many albums sold doesn't mean shit much of the time. Most people aren't musicians and therefore aren't as good at judging music. Simple music for simple minds.

  • So music has to be complex to be good? Usually if the vast majority of people like an artist and his music more than another, it typically means its better according to the majority's opinion. It doesn't matter on complexity or skill (which I think Coldplay still exceeds when compared to Satriani) but just plainly how good the song is. Music is either good or bad, just people have different tastes. Saying simple music for simple minds is being very close-minded (simple-minded).

  • Although I agree that music doesn't have to be complex to be good, you are WAY off base to think that the majority liking music makes it better. The music industry is SO much more corrupt that people want to believe. They bottle fed Brittany, Jessica and Taylor to you all and you nibbled it off of the rubber spoon. The vast majority of music listeners are sheep. They follow the flock, and the music industry is their shephard.

  • Learn to play an instrument ehh, so i guess 6 years of guitar doesnt count...hmmmmm you dont look stupid at all. uuu simple music for simple minds, betcha felt proud when you churned that one out..truly a jem. Try out Frusciante, Jeff Buckley, Hendrix, Mars Volta, INCUBUS...w.e man. Try and pay attention to the video when they say it was proven that Chris Martin was not in the crowd..and for God sakes, why would he be?

  • Are you seriously that dense? To think that writing an instrumental means it's not writing the music? Ever heard of classical music, idiot? He wrote the song. Coldplay stole the melody, tempo and even PITCH. They added the rest of the additional crap to hide the theft, but obviously they didn't do well enough. I hope the rest of the music industry isn't as ignorant about music as you appear to be. Theft is theft. Coldplay should burn.

  • Yep, burn in the millions they made. Coldplay is a better band collectively than Satriani is. Obviously being on the charts isnt what its all about cuz its about making the purest sounding music not necessarily alternative. But i have been a fan of coldplay for years and i dont give a shit what band does as long as the summation of their efforts is amazing music. Im not alternative myself and i do listen to alot of underground stuff.

  • Ironicly, if you had any sense of music, Satriani doesn't need any attention to get his music out there. either way. personally i dig the creaky boards more than coldplay.

  • hmm doesnt need attention, that explains his overwhelming popularity and range of his music. Creaky boards are still a garage band

  • i gotta say you can't compare the two, although coldplay has plenty of better music then viva la vida, and i think all these plagarism cases are b.s.

  • music is not about chart topping songs. mozart never topped the charts nor did frank sinatra, nor did cake or dr. dre.

coldplay may have stolen the song from both of them.

if you listen to how its sung the creaky boards sing it similarly to coldplay while the melody of the coldplay song practically IS the satrini song.

coldplays had a good run but i think theyve run out of steam.

resorting to stealing isnt that far fetched.

and satriani is a good musician, you should check out him out.

  • Why can't we just end this here. Coldplay released the song and did good with it. All that satriani suing them will do is give him money which isnt necesarily due to him because coldplay is the one who marketed the song, wrote the lyrics and most of the riffs. Satriani should consider stoping the lawsuit and using this exposure to get his music out there if he belives it has the potential to reach Coldplay status. Ofcourse its not all about status, but it looks like Satriani thinks it is..

  • B O R I N G

  • Chris Martin stated it was not plagiarism because

    1. Could not have been him at Creaky Boards concert as was working in London that night.

    2. The song was a work in progress for 7 months prior to that time.

    3. Song was stolen from 2004 Joe Satriani song and not from Creaky Boards.

  • Way to read off a piece of paper poorly

  • I like the way he has to explain what 'plagiarism' means...

  • Alizée!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Coldplay, from Europe. Because it's just one big country.

  • What do you expect from an American?

  • Hey this guy doesn't represent all Americans, he's actually pretty stupid and appears to have absolutely no idea what he's talking about.

  • what do you mean?

are you ripping on the radio guy as an american or are you ripping on the bands for claiming plagiarism?

  • The radio guy as an American.

  • that's not fair.

    the united states is huge.

we have a lot of people.

and with a lot of people you get a lot of good and bad.

its like saying we all speak like we're from the southern states, which is the retarded accent foreigners associate us with.

we have so many accents it would be offensive to assume the majority has the retard accent out of all of them.

where are you from? somewhere in the uk?

    or are you french?

seems like those two harbor the most incorrect idea of U.S.

  • I'm Finnish.

Europeans don't think all Americans are southerners. We have too many mixed cultures and are too close to our neighbours to think that. Then again, according to the 2006 National Geographic-Roper Survey of Geographic Literacy only 37% of the Americans between 18-24 can point out Iraq on a map (and that is after 3 years of warfare!!).

I'm quite sure most Americans wouldn't know the difference (or could point out on a map) between Greece, Sweden, Czech Republic and so on.

  • our educational system is very self centered when it comes to teaching about other countries. i dont think i was taught of very many foreign wars at all that we werent included in.

nonetheless i believe that the people included in that survey were widely selected unfairly due too a low education, and represented us unfairly.

plus americans can name most any state. the average state is roughly the size of a european country. my point? different continents can name more countries around them.

  • Thank you for just proving my point. Americans are self-centred because of a lacking educational system and an ignorance towards the rest of the world.

When it comes to the survey, I'm quite sure that a survey done by National Geographic would be correctly done.

Furthermore, naming a state and naming a country are different things. One is part of your culture while the other isn't. Geographical size isn't that important. What is more important is population and culture of the area.

  • that's not entirely true. state to state there are big cultural differences. if you don't believe me, look at how each state votes in elections. anyway, i mostly agree with you. that statistic is quite embarrassing.

i'm not defending this, but part of the reason world culture is not stressed in education here IS the geographical size of the country and isolation from foreign countries. a very large percentage of americans have/will never leave this country. it's not like europe.

  • Haha, the isolation from other countries is a poor excuse, I live in australia, our country is an island, as in, not a single land border with another, and we don't pretend the rest of the world doesn't exist.

Sure it's not as big, but there's no "reason" for the bad education other than an education system that's failing.

  • actually i don't claim it's an excuse at all. that's why i said "i'm not defending this". i'm telling you as someone who lives here and has gone through a state educational system the way it is.

you're not illuminating anything at all by telling us that our educational system is failing. we've known this for many years and haven't come up with any way to make kids care about school. it's not a problem you can take a wrench to.

  • i think the problem is that we were raised under the phrase of "america is the best country in the world." and people still say that today...how? i just dont get it.. we arent... and why do we have to be the best in the world? we should just try to be the best we can be, and that will be good for the world... anyway, i agree that education is our biggest problem.. stay our friend finland. (even for the sake of just some of us)

  • i bet they cant name all the canadian provencies/territories

  • too bad they are both a copy of Joe Satriani's If I Could Fly

  • its plagiarism....who cares right! fact is Coldplays song is better...they always copycat.

  • Coldplay is awesome I don't know how you can even compare the lyrics that poetically describe and beautifully sang NAPOLEON'S FALL to some random bedroom crap...wtf. I'm not a Coldplay fan, I just really love this song and I think CB is using this either to gain press coverage or just for the hell of it.

  • Yawn. Coldplay sucks. Douche Martin, doubly so.

  • I love how the DJ doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about! Anyways, sure the verse has some similarities, but I think it's bullshit. It's a cheap shot. The Creaky Boards guy isn't a good enough musician to break through, so he just claims plagiarism. Pathetic.

  • so yeah they're similar. but really i think CB is just mad that theres a band more popular than them who happen to have a similar melody in one song. sure music stealing happens all the time but really CB? stooping a leeel too low for attention

  • smart caller, i agree

  • ye! can just imagine Chris dropping into a Creaky Boards gig! and how did he manage to be in London at the same time! CB are just so SAD!! the chorus is the key to Viva la Vida that's what makes genius!

  • Their both Ripped off from Joe Satriani-If I could fly.

  • I totally believe that they blatantly copied the CB track. Coldplay suck, they should take a good shower and change job. Could a band be more miserable-looking??

  • How cares about what they look dude?

  • EVERYBODY IN MUSIC STEALS: this is the way how evolution in music is continuing. There are only 7 basic chords A B C D E F G, and the minor chords and the 7th chords. So what do you want. If you play in a band it is possible that some chord-sequences remain in the brains, like a catchy tune and later while rehearsing and playing they probably don't realise that someone else wrote that particular song earlier. A famous example is SPIRIT+TAURUS versus LED ZEPPELIN + STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN

  • dangergErBi the thing is they got permission by Kraftwerk to use the Computer Love rift in Talk.

  • Colplay is used to this, same thing with kraftwerk´s "computer love"

  • Jared Morris was reading this out of our British newspaper The Independent.

  • u should be thanking ColdPlay for turning "your" peice of shit song into a itunes commercial and Viva La Vida sounds alot better too

  • Ok Viva La Vida is not about Chris Martin conquering Jerusalem its about its about kings losing there kingdoms. Also karma i dont think so this guy is clearly a hick!Because creaky boards song is not anything to brag about and Coldplays song is so beautiful and has so many complex sounds that you just have to listen to it more than once.So does creaky boards have a case on there hand i think NOT!

  • Creaky Boards are a joke coldplay managed to turn w/e creakyboards peaice of shit song into a itunes commercial creakyboards are bunch of bitches trying to get sum publicity

  • no shit, it's called an ingenious publicity move. I tip my hat to Creaky Boards.

  • Chris Martin attended a gig of creaky who?

    Yeah sure... Hahahahaha!!!

Nice publicity for you guys hey!

    A-holes!!

  • they sound alike, but if coldplay had it before obviously the plagiarism is from the creaky boards but they do sound alike at the beginning but who knows... there is plagiarism from thousands of artists

  • franchement le chant démare pareil c'est la meme ligne de mélodie, pour l'harmonie qui accompagne c'est pareil mais c'est quand meme plus fréquent, en ce qui concerne le chant pour moi pas de doute, c'est du plagiat

  • oh common ..

alot of songs sound the same.

the first verse of single by new kids on the block ft. ne-yo sounds like via la vida too.

    so who copied who ?

  • so basically there no way to know, and what does creaky floorboards expect to get out of this ? the song to be released in their name ? impossible. it's their bad luck that they don't have the fame and sucess of coldplay.

  • they DO sound similar.

  • I really think that this was a case of the worst band trying to make a buck off the better band. The lyrics are dissimilar, the beat is different there is a slight similarity... but honestly, it's different. This sounds like creaky boards is trying to get some free publicity.

  • sounds like theres a bunch of dumb tools that like coldplay too much to notice that viva is stolen. Hey mancole they'd rip them off because... the boards aren't well known and its a good song. smarts. anywase the melody is very much the same. If you deny that your a meatsack. How come everyone gets so upset its hilarious its so obvious that chris martin er whoever he is stole it. Theres no question u meats.

  • Easy with the hardcore disses there bro,

The meat diss almost made me cry 8-)

Deep down we all know that coldplay most obviously did not "steal" the melody. If you were to listen to it, you would know that it has small similarities, but so do a lot of songs.

The creaky boards are shit, anyway.

  • Watch the other video. He added stuff at the end. Coldplay introduced their song before Creaky fags even taught it to the band. Publicity seeking douche-bags.

  • The host of the radio said that coldplay is "relatively popular NEWER band that sold ok in America" OK HOST please do your research first before saying things like that... Because COLDPLAY is not new and they are not only doing OK in AMERICA they are doing VERY GOOD...

  • damn the radio host is ANNOYING. WE CAN READ THE SUBTITLES GODDAMNIT.

  • ironmanstarks36.... you can't READ subtitles when listening to the radio

  • why WOULD they rip them off? They're so big, they could write a million other songs.

  • its not true guys. its a joke by creaky boards.

  • Come on they're so similar how can you say its like copying afew notes?

  • This was just a really great way to get them lots of publicity.

  • The talk show host in this clip has an annoying quality about him. I'm not sure if it is his voice or the fact that he interrupts the presentation of the evidence in this clip. Just as the songs get to their similar points the host decides to blab.

  • It sounds much more similar to if i could fly by Joe Satriani than it does to that creaky boards song.

  • This is no more similar than Agadoo and Rhianna. :3

  • This is the equivalent of Led Zeppelin 'ripping off' "Taurus" by Spirit. Like, the first three notes - perhaps.

  • lol who cares if the singer has a moustache? And the Coldplay song sounds better, mostly because they have strings though.

  • The only melody thats the same is the first measure. That's how retarded people are. 4 beats are the same...4 beats.

  • both songs suck anyway

  • Hmmm... COULD be plagiarism.

However, they DEFINITELY copied the Joe Satriani song.

  • you are right man!!!!

  • That's what I was thinking.

  • ...and the creaky boards song isn't even THAT similar...

  • coldplay's too good for that. they showed a newsreel of this on their tour. ridiculous, people will belive what they want. i don't care i love them more than anything. :)

  • How are they too good? They're just people capable of anything. You're right, people will believe what they want to believe, and your last setence is exactly what you're saying. Following blindly...

Anyway, they stole from satch, atleast they picked someone worth stealing from.

  • this DJ sucks

  • Hello people! Coldplay wouldnt be in that guys audience! Nothing is stolen. Chris Martin would not do it.

  • If anyone watched the whole thing, it says at the end of the creaky boards vid that viva la vida was demoed before songs i didnt write... the only real plagiarism is the joe satriani song, if i could fly

  • All this stupid shit is just these faggots trying to get some extra publicity. Nice try. Your band fucking sucks. You'll never be famous. This stupid YouTube stunt you've tried to pull will be the extent of your fame. Go suck some dicks you fuckin homo's.

  • kk if you say that chris martin can't just walk into a concert and someone notice him then your dumb. Someone has already said that they spotted chris martin there and that person is going to say they saw him in court.

  • he wasn't there. andrew from creaky boards has already admitted it was just made up.

  • this isn't going to court because it was all made up. the only reason it can't be called slander against coldplay is because someone was smart enough to tell andrew to say they "thought" they saw chris martin instead of saying they "did" see him

  • no matter if it's true I like creaky boards version more, it sounds great

  • i would have to agree with you.

  • this is such a lie do you think chris martin can just walk into concert and no one notice him. no way not gonna happen. but they do sound alike but all music most of the time sound alike

  • first of all to all those people who either slate coldplay or love them music is music if you like it or not some people prefer 50 cent others muse and some coldplay

as far as the song when i play viva la vida i use C D G EM chords a very very very widly used combination even if creek floorboards hadnt made this hole thing up to gain popularity for their band it would be perfectly reasonable for the two songs to have been similar all music is they use certain scales or patterns

  • I think the radio voice liked to cover the creaky boards music with his voice and not point out certain stuff. Very very biased. God I hate biased ass radio personalities.
