  • I hope someone brought this up during Bubba's funeral.

  • Great clip, two class acts. RIP Bubba.

  • R.I.P. Bubba Smith 1945 - 2011

  • I remember this! So funny. Another favorite of mine from this show was a Hispanic sports reporter who went into a long fit of giggles when he saw someone trip off-camera. He tried and tried to get the report out, but ended up wiping tears from his eyes, laughing so hard he could barely breathe. Laughter is so contagious!. I wish those were out on DVD.

  • @sternim77 That reporter blooper is my all-time favorite. Have you ever been able to find a clip of it online?!!? I'd love to see it again and send it to my mom. (also her favorite clip)

  • Been looking for this for years lol, thanks very much lol!!!

  • @delboy65 Very welcome!

  • I thought this was one of the best practical jokes ever! Poor guy knew he had been had but just swallowed his pride and showed what a true sport he was...I always loved Virginia Peters laugh, that just made it an absolute classic especially at the end when he cussed out Bubba. BTW I still have this on VHS tape when it originally aired.

  • @CatalinaSafari73 Oh God yes: her laugh was so infectious, and added to the hilarity. And you have it on VHS tape too!! LOL.

  • This blooper is a classic! Just to see the" Mr. Deacon Jones" in a ballerina costume is fantastic, and more so when he says, "Man, somebody got me good!" The man just didn't know where to go or what to do. This blooper had my husband and I rolling on the floor, gasping for air, when it first aired. It was soooo funny. What a sense of humor Mr Jones had. Glad to see it posted.

  • @dphill96 Isn't it hilarious!? I had the same reaction when I first saw it; poor Deacon, and what an incredibly good sport he was after all they put him through.

  • Hate to sound nitpicky, but you're off by a decade.

  • @allnewtpir LOL! No problem; 1994 was when I recorded this bit, so other than that, didn't know when the bit was filmed. Thanks for the info.

  • @chalomirof63 Probably should have been more specific; I meant 1984.

  • @allnewtpir Thanks again for the info. I'll change it now. If you see any more stuff, pls pass it along.
