It looked like most of it was Karas, though. I ACTUALLY thought it was Otoha the entire time and that I was seeing scenes that didn't actually happen. This video was that good. 5 stars and props to the creator.

this is way better than spoil, spoil was just a lot of effects to cover up the scenes and make them look better, this one had masking, meaning it had a lot of work put into!

Both works are good either way!

nah i don't agree with that, spoil is on a whole different level. I liked this amv, too, but just cuz it was heavily masked, and how he changed the whole story, but effects dont make the amv good, you have to learn how to make use of them, too, and thats where spoil wins.

I know my comment sounded like if i didn't appreciated the work of Spoil, but what i really tried to say is that even though both videos where brilliantly made and had that much work put into, Memento surpasses because it created a new story behind it, and it fulfill what i thing the whole point of editing is about, it created a whole knew picture, out of mixing parts of other materials. Even though Spoil did the same thing, Memento brought a whole new world!

yea your right, too, however, I think spoil looked more professionally done, then this, if you know what I mean? There were parts that looked as if they needed more work. It just feels like an attempt to use all the effects that this person has learned. I still love this, but next to spoil, not so much. And the story wasn't really that clear to me either, so maybe that's the reason, but w.e still it's good. o.o

Are you serious? ^^ Spoil is really overated! Im not saying i don't enjoy watching spoil, but spoil was easy comparing to this, these scene selection that is used in this vid is fucking unbelivable! The mood is top notch, the story in this is allot better then in spoil, to change a story through out other series isnt the easiest thing to do..

everyone see's things from their own point of view, and i just happen to disagree. Spoil has 3d animation, but that also falls under editing, it's how you use the 3d animation to make it work with the footage. I'm not saying this amv isn't good, but against spoil, it's a joke. The story seems unclear, and pointless. And it looks like a attempt to use all effects this person has learned. I'm a nub at ae, and i can easily do all the effects he has done here.

Do you even speak the language the song is in. Without even knowing what the lyrics mean I can see a deep story. Tell me what the story in Spoil was? The most of the footage in spoil was nothing but random 3D black blotches.

Spoil is nothing but eyecandy and doesn't hold a T to this video. Spoil is obviously hard editing. but amvs like Wormwood's Another Day, this, and Condemned Memoir make amvs like Spoil a joke.

No offense, but a editor at your level doesnt even know the world amv, yet, so don't even try to tell me whats a joke. And spoil does have a story to it, but u obviously didn't get it.

"An editor of my level" Because I don't spam opening scenes and overlays I'm not a good editor? Just and fyi, my more recent stuff is 10 times better than what is on my channel, so feel free to come back in a month or so and see what I actually can do. I know a shit load about the editing world you'd be suprised. Also, Spoil has a story, its just not strong, the basis of the amv is around the effects, which is good but lacking. This amv has revenge and war "eye for an eye"

your last amv was posted a week ago, so that is your recent work. spam op scenes? Than, i guess you must hate the best amv of 2008, cuz its made up of op/ed, magic pad. And anyways, i haven't made a proper amv, yet, what i have right now is just boredom stuff that i've made within hours, not in weeks/months.

Everything I've posted was made in under an hours time. I have current working coming out for MEPs that is far better, part of it is I don't assume I'm a great editor. Its a really really sparse hobby, but I do know a shitload about it, and I've watched a shitload of amvs.

You have someone like Neverend telling you you're wrong, and you still argue your point like you're some kind of AMV jesus. Keep trying kid ;)

I never said it was made over weeks/months, the point is your still at a learning stage, so don't go around telling others something, that you don't have a clue about your self. I don't consider my self a genius at making amv's, it's just a hobby.

You'd be suprised just how much I do know about editing but thats besides the point. Just because you aren't a pro editor you can't look at an amv and see the detail/story/effort? Spoil is eyecandy, no reason to deny it.

In short, like i said in my last comments, too, that you don't have to agree with me, everyone has different opinions, so leave it at that. I never said this amv sucked, I think the editor did a good job, though next to the, spoil, for me it didn't work out. End of discussion.

Not to mention, you came all the way, watched this, and then purposely and unneedly compared and commented about it next to spoil, and expect everyone to not say anything. As for, Neverendamv, I believe he finds my work appealing, too, which is why I'm even one of his sub. He's a great editor, and I think I'm at his level of editing, though, he has released far more videos than me. I have nothing up that's outstanding work, but I'll have something up soon when i get the chance to work on it.
