Hello Tamara, You are so funny and great! Well I have just one cuestion : What is the name of the tool did you use for melting the beeswax? Im living in Mexico City and I can´t find it!!!!!! Thankyou very much in advance for your reply!
Hi Tam, please can you tell me what you used here on the face? It looked like a flesh coloured watercolour pencil, followed by either a yellow looking water soluble crayon or pastel and then white acrylic? I would love to know as I am struggling with getting that lovely smooth flesh tone that you achieve so easily.
@Spiritobliss oooh, it's hard to remember! i do have a variety of pinkie/ flesh coloured watercolour pencils - i'm sorry i can't exactly remember which colours i used, did this vid quite a while ago, but from the watercolour crayons i use the one called: orangish yellow. good luck!
Hi Tamara! I love your videos. I spend hours watching them with my daughter. Thanks for showing us your paintings, they are really amazing. I would also like to know where can I buy nice scrapbook papers and rubber stamps. I am from Barcelona and I can´t find them. So I guess I will have to by them in Internet. Thank you very much!!!
@gemmab71 thanks gemma! glad you enjoy my videos! i buy those materials here in art shops and craft shops, but you should be able to buy them online too! just do a google search and have a browse around! good luck! xoox
all information (email address) and commission information can also be found on my website (willowingp[dot]org) looking forward to your email! xoo xthank you x
hi lis, apologies for my late reply!! been ridiculously busy with everything! :0) - i live in hove. i get inspiration from many things; life, the universe, other artists, if you want to read more about my influences go to my website (willowing[dot]org) and read the 'about' section. :)
Okay , thankyou very much ! i will definatley be qoinq on your website . i am qoinq to be away from home for 1 week , so i will do as much as i can :) But i will definatley be coming back ! :)
i absolutely love your attitude towards life and your work! i know you've heard this hundreds of times but you are so inspiring! my daughter and i are absolutely in awe watching your videos...and learning SO much! never stop sharing andTHANKYOU for being so original and awsome!!
Definitely -- I think everyone is born with his or her own style. I'm grateful I found your art through browsing suzi's channel; I don't even remember how that happened but I'm glad it did. ;] And same here with the ATCs... that community seems to have fizzled almost out of existence but I do miss it.
Hi didz... I know you aren't asking me, but I've struggled with the same question lately. One thing that's helped me to figure out what to draw is to first journal or scribble about how I'm feeling or what I'm happy/sad/anxious/etc about and then draw a character that can put those feelings into an image. Or look around you and try to find something beautiful about something others might not stop to appreciate... like a sparkle in some yarn, or a pretty edge on a countertop, or a flower...
Yay, I'm so glad! I get "stuck" so often that I'm glad I could help someone else out. Thanks to you too, willowing, for adding to my ideas... we have a lot in common! I'll be bookmarking your etsy store, for sure. Best wishes with your creating -- your work is really lovely. :) And good luck to you too, Didz!
so weird! i thought i responded to your comment here dida! misphotod gave you some great ideas i saw! i enjoy looking at my favourite artists and art and getting inspired by their work, also, sometimes, i see something on tv or in a magazine/ newspaper and draw inspiration from that! good luck! x
There are hardly better moments than this: watching delightful and charming Tam while eating an oatmeal cookie with chamomile-mint tea, accompanied with giggles and grins :-)) Lovely, adorable painting--she glows! Thank you Tam, for your sweet reminders for us! *Angel kisses and hugs*
Another beautiful painting Tam. Wish so bad I could afford to take your class. :( Can you tell me what you start drawing with? I use a H pencil but when I fill the color in, the pencil smears in too. Doesn't look good to me. Any suggestions? Thank you Tam.
hey terry, it's annoying when the pencils smudges, same for me too, but i do do it that way. a couple of ways to deal with it; use non-watersoluble black pencil (although can't rub that one out well) or use acrylics to cover up the smudging, which is usually what i do! :) x
I almost deducted one star for that horrible awful 70's music you played at the beginning. Thankfully you redeemed yourself with the bellydance, etc. music. I loved the video!
ha ha! oh no you're not a 70ties fan?! i get all giddy listening to it. but you see, i like wham too! eesh. hee hee. thanks sweets, and i shall try not to use that kind of music anymore (but now with youtube taking down all vids that have copyrighted music in it, i have a limited choice!) x
ha haaa! that is SO funny, particularly because i LOVE cheese, it's my fav food, lol. yes, it is beeswax. ha ha, that made me laugh outloud! thanks sweets! xoxo
Heeheee, can you tell I've never worked with bee's wax? I was thinking..."HUH? What's she gonna do with that CHEESE?" But, I'm a quick learner and realized that was not a cheese-TOOL you were working with! HAHA
it's pitch black hair!! :) and yes, i have a thing for that kind of hair lately! also, the curly/ wavey here, i can't stop doing it, in future times they shall call it my; curly black wavy hair phase! ;)
WE ARE DIVINE! Finally someone who gets it!
