Err..THIS doesnt look like leo A BIT ..if you take yellow for the base you have to take a similar color for the prints..just a bit darker...

@ritzxoxo you could use a darker blue as the base color and a lighter blue as the blobs, i did a tutorial on leopard print nails on my channel but i basically did that with a green :)

@snafflesify A lot of nail polish brands offer a matte top coat. It's basically just a top coat that creates a matte look over almost any nail polish. My favourite is the one b y Essie. OPI, China Glaze, and other companies have them too though.

you don't really need a nail art brush for leopard print. Just take the normal brush and do tiny blobs randomly on the nail. They will spread out into bigger splodges as they dry. Then, take a black liquid eyeliner or a black permanent pen and draw the random lines (3 to 4 max) around each blob. Trust me it works :)

This looks more like a giraffe print than leopard, but if you made the spots smaller w/ some that were different sizes and added some irregular 'o' or 'c' shapes too they would look more feline.

You should use acrylic paints for your nail designs. They come in all kinds of colors and you can get them for less than a dollar sometimes. PLUS, if you mess it you can take it off easily with some alcohol without ruining your nail polish underneath :)
