"ony one per saved file". like if i had him and started a new game and i tried to get a new one like this video shows you can get another one. (my advice if you start your game over you can trade it to one of your different games or your friends game and trade it back. but if he wants to get a jirachi on his game, he can get one from the disk, and have yours at the same time)

Right! the thing is that some of us never had the chance to have to games in time for the evens. For example, I missed out on every even on Platinum. so I ended up getting the action replay to get the tickets to these events. that is the purpose of Pokemon to have fun with it. I don't think hacking stats is right but just catching the pokemon the normal way is great.

getting jirachi on channel is really easy. everyday you get a few shows to watch. you watch the shows and then rate them on some in game diary thing. once you have watched the shows for that day save and turn off. put the clock forward a day and watch the next set of shows. do this about 6 or 7 times. then on the 7th day you have a quest to find a missing show disk. find the disk and return it. as a reward you get to download jirachi to ruby or sapphire via a menu option at the start screen.
