oh yh the battery increases because of the way battery meters work, long story cut short lithium batteries recharge by literally shoving electrons from positive to negative areas of the battery, if you move the object (ipod in this case) the electrons randomly move and confuses the ipod into thinking the battery is recharging it goes down within 10 minuites.

dude if you want a good case just go to walmart and get this belkin 2 pack for 15 bucks and a 5 pack of these belkin clear screen protectors. the rubber case covers the home button and the volume rocker and the sleep button and is not too rubbery if you know what i mean. also the 5 pack of screen protectors work just as good as the screen and does not affect the veiwing. i recommend highly!
