The reason gaki no tsukai ya arahende works is because of the comedy reactions of Matsumoto HItoshi, the fun of guests like Bob Sapp, having Heipo take part... see thats where the comedy is. Which nation first started Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? For the first 17 years of my life i would of said Britain but back then if it wasn't aired you didn't see it. Sites like Youtube didn't exist till i was like 14/15 i reckon and even then the amount of videos were limited.

I enjoyed the games but I didn't really enjoy the players. Nobody was really averse to anything which, for me anyway, was part of the charm of the original. Even though the group reaction to the dogfood was very funny, they just got on with it. There was no real hesitation to participate.

Don't get me wrong though, it is good to see Silent Library on our screens in the UK but I honestly think it would be a lot better if the games were more tailored toward dislikes or minor fears of the players.
