  • The music always makes me feel teary =') But it's a good kind of sad, you know? I feel so much nostalgia when watching this again and just can't believe it's been eleven years since it first came out!

  • 1:35 and onis awsome

  • I am still waiting for my letter of hogwarts.

    Accio Harry Potter!

  • watching this makes me fell like I'm 7 all over again :')

  • "All was well."

  • When I watch this, I think of the first time I saw this scene in the theater with my daughter who was then just a little girl, like Herminone. Then I think of last summer, when we saw the epilogue and she was sitting there next to me again, now all grown up and beautiful, just like her mother.

  • i love how hagrid can fit a whole bloody photo album loosley in his pockets

  • Aww Harry.

It all feels as if it were yesterday :')

  • Only a few seconds into the video I'm ready to cry!!!

  • And... Just cry :'D <3

  • Like if you got here from the 19 years later video :)

  • i would never have guessed that 10 years later this song would mean so much to me. but it really has grown to define my childhood. now every time i hear it, i cry. end of an era.

  • i cannot even believe that it has been 10 years.

  • Whenever I read Harry Potter, even though it's over, I'll always remember that Hogwarts will always be there to welcome me home.

God Bless Mrs. Rowling for giving us this life changing story.

  • This is one of the best endings to a movie in cinematic history. Some people might say it's sickeningly sentimental, but very few endings make me as happy as this one does. I'll admit that a lot of it is nostalgia, but this ending really captures what I love about Harry Potter, and I always feel myself getting teary-eyed watching this. While the first movie may not be perfect, I still consider it a classic. This is the kind of stuff that defines classics.

  • Harry Potter isn't over, not really ;)

  • WHY DON'T THEY PLAY THIS FOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATIONS?!?!?!??!?!?

  • @ShazamWow1

You just gave me an awesome idea.

  • @ShazamWow1 WMG Copyright... nahh. I really don't know.

  • @ShazamWow1 why do you say that?

  • @ShazamWow1 I wouldn't expect this piece of art playing at my graduation, my school was the worst in the world!

  • @ShazamWow1 I'm replying to myself on Having a Top Comment!!! Wicked Cool!!!!

  • @ShazamWow1 Yeah, I'm actually considering asking the orchestra to play this for mine, when I get to be a Senior. It would make me cry a bunch though.

  • @ledhead504 DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • Hard to believe that this song is played at the end of the last movie :'(

  • I can't watch this without crying.

  • @TheEnforcerOfJustice same age

  • my life is seriously over :( what am i going to do now????

  • 1:22 best quote in entertainment history

  • Omg This was the first movie i saw in the cinemas.. I was 4 so I was obviously excited seeing a screen so big and music so loud and everything and asking so much questions! I remember when I was 5 and when moaning myrtle showed up in the chamber of secrets I asked... Is that a girl harry? LOL I remember seeing each movie in the cinema and how I grew up with all of the films Im 14 now and I will never forget any of those moments. I will be buried with the last book in my hands like dumbledore :P

  • i just wanna cry when i hear this music, i can´t understand that it have ended ;-(

  • 5 years old when this came out.. I'll be 16 in 2 months.. The rest of my childhood will never be the same without Harry, Ron, & Hermione :`(

"Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home"

    -J.K. Rowling

  • I was 7 years old....Good memories.

I love this song and Harry Potter !

  • i love this song sooo much

    i love harry potter

  • I was 6 years old when I saw this in theaters. Oh the memories. :(

  • <3<3

  • You can never leave Hogwarts, Sure the words may have ended and the images stopped but Hogwarts will always be there, in here <3 Always.

  • I remember when reading the end of Deathly Hallows, thinking this music would be perfect for that story's final scene. Needless to say, I was pleased to see that they somehow got my 'mental message.' :)

  • I just burst into tears. :(

  • i have now came the full circle this theme was in the first movie and it ended the whole series in the last movie i am glad they used it

  • @TheEnforcerOfJustice I was 6-7yrs old. Loved It Ever Since. :)

  • It's scary to think that I was 10 years old when I first saw this and now I'm 20. It meant so much that they used this theme at the end of Deathly Hallows Part II....it felt like closure to my childhood and teenage years.

  • ;( 5 years ago i beleived you, hagrid, would take me away to hogwarts when i turned 11... I still await your presence.. I will miss you harry <3

  • this scene make me cry:(

  • I was THREE years old when this movie showed. :(

  • -Feel strange to be going home, doesn't it..?

    -I'm not going home..not really..

  • I can't believe it's over, I am sad, yes. But I am extremely happy...... because this was all ever possible. (:

  • THIS MAKES ME CRY SO MUCH NOW!

  • Man i was only 4 when this came out... now that its over it makes me realize that this franchise meant alot to me.. thank you j.k rowling

  • I like the part at 2:03. it's like a reassurance that it'll never be over...

  • I was also 5! It the best film (together with part 7,2) I ever seen!! I'm crying always by this scène!

  • I was 4 when I saw that first amazing film in the cinema :)

Thank you, J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter accompanied my childhood and I am happy for it :)

  • I was 10 when this came out. I felt like crying watching this now and I'm a guy!

  • One of the most memorable scenes in movie history, but I don't like how since Order of the Phoenix, they've changed the setting of Hogsmeade Station. They've put it right in the middle of the forest. I like this one better.

  • @TheEnforcerOfJustice i was 5 to.

  • @TheEnforcerOfJustice i was 5 to.

  • OMG... I'M CRYING SO HARD.....

  • I just realized that this is the SAME music played at the end of the last movie <3

  • this makes me cry :'( I miss Harry potter so much.

  • This song gives me chills:)

  • I wish the last few films were as true to the books as this one'

  • "Feels strange to be going home. Doesn't it?"

"We're not going home, not really."

  • I really need to get all the films on blu ray. This is a pretty damn good quality transfer!

  • I know the whole movie in my head! I saw him when I was 4 / 5 years old! I really love Harry Potter and it's the best thing that ever happened to me!

    Potter Head in the house!

I am Dutch so do not mind my english

  • Thank you John Williams for give me chillings..

  • THESE TEARS MAN.

  • HARRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

  • Thank you Chris Columbus for giving JK Rowlings book a faithful and proper treatment as an adaptation on the big screen, and thank you John Williams for the unforgettable score you came up with. Few moments makes me more nostalgic than this particular scene.

  • @macfalk12 Absolutely, Chris Columbus was the best!

  • Does anybody remember the last Harry / Hagrid hug? It was right before Filch was brushing away the dirt from the battle & Ron & Hermione came in holding hands. I cant be the only one the shed a tear at that last hug.

  • I saw every single film with my sister.... It's sad to see it go..... It's been such a big thing for my childhood and yours.....

  • I was only 3 when I saw this in theatres but I remember every moment... every stick I pretended was a wand, every blanket that I pretended turned me invisible, and every moment I realized Hogwarts is, and will always be in my heart no matter what may come.

    Harry Potter Forever <3

  • SO EMOTIONAL D:

  • "I'm not going home, not really" <33 John Williams should be given an Oscar because they used "Leaving Hogwarts" in the final film!

  • geez, my childhood started with this music, but then, it ended with the same melody.

  • @AntonioSNunes OMG so true!!!

  • I was five when this came out... I didn't understand shit of what was going on... then I started reading the books, and re-watching the movies, and I fucking changed.

  • @DCRaider2011 wait till the Whole package of Harry Potter 1 - 7 part 2 comes on blu-ray director's cut
