  • Thats the reason why you don`t see ducklings swimming by in this video -BIG FISH.

  • that is not a snoek that is a karper:D

  • I use bigger fish for live baits ;-)

  • Never swim naked, "OW! gotta nibble on my wiener"

  • do you know how many kilos is that? sorry I'm not with those "lb's"

  • @MerrasMies Just over 15kg

  • hey tell me where did you catch that big brother

  • Lads, i dream of catching a Pike of 30lb or more.. this is truly a stunning fish..i must say i'm pretty jealous.. i'm pleased you both handled her well and returned her quickly to fight another day..28.5lb is my best so far but my day will come and my dream will come true..

  • wot a monster

  • now what do you do when a big one like that goes crazy on the mat? the big ones seem to be more calm than the little ones, they often jump around when they are out of the water.

  • killer that alll

  • love it

  • if u catch a fish then realese it u have hurted its mouth and it may be unable to eat and if u cut the line it still have the lure in its moutch and if u pick it up it will have problem to breath so neither way u hurt it

  • @xPlatiiinuM You have a lot to learn about pike fishing my friend. We release fish here after capture, if we didn't, there'd be no fish like this to catch. It's mouth will heal and most of us know how to avoid deep hooking pike.

  • Well done Mr. My biggest is 19 half. See predetor fishing in UK. by Dr. Steve Rogowsky. Any more monsters ? .. 'Spinning' Steve Appleby.

  • fuck me

  • @stellastey no thanks.

  • I once caught a goldfish the size of paleheihlto

  • Muskie have stripes

  • @69smallboys muskie is a pike

  • That not a pike! It's a shark : p

  • Im glad to hear about the catch and releasing. True FISHERMEN catch and release<<<<

  • @wegettinarabmoney true fisherman catch and eat what they catch.

  • MAN where can i get a pike like that im gonna have to get my rod and reel and go down wherever that is

  • dream catch,well done lads

  • Nice fish mate, well handled. We need more folk like you and your mate in this sport. Its getting overtaken by fucking clowns with no regard to the countryside or the fish. All the best from Bonnie Scotland, tight lines

  • Well done lads what a monster!

  • Monster

  • what a fish!! what kinda fight did that monster put up!? what kinda gear/ lure use using?!

  • Nice Pike man. Ive eaten Pike before, just once & never again, tastes like trash & I think a lot of 'easten europeans' eat them just for the sake of it. They're sport fish, ignore all of these people who clearly have no idea with their negatives, the catch, handling & release was textbook, well done chap.

  • Fucking Beauty man.... Hella trophy, please tell me you made a replica of that

  • Thats going on my wall

  • Med man ur a twat asking a question like that

  • der wahn!

  • Thats a dinosour. Would have made a nice addition to a plate of potatoes. Still nice to see love for the fish. Just out of interest..Can you keep pike from English waters? Ive forgoten.

  • Nice fish mate good to see u know ur stuff not like other muppets out there

  • MAYBE 20 LB

  • Fantastic Fish!!! and i like they way you fellas treated it with utmost respect before releasing it.

There is one thing that irks me though.... LIVE BAIT!!! isn´t that against the law nowadays??? I know that its forbidden in Ireland, Germany, France, and Holland.

  • thats not a record pike my buddy a couple yrs ago caught a 48lbs pike on a tip up and some pike or muskie get bigger than that some muskie i think can get up to 60 or 70lbs

  • @zags I think they meant that it was a record for that particular river.

World record rodcaught Pike came from Grenfeern Lake Germany in 1984 it weighed exactly 25 kilo. thats 55lbs and one ounce.

Amazing that a Pike could get that big over here, as the Germans tend to eat every Pike they catch.

There was a semi decomposed pike found on the shore of an Irish lake back in the seventies that was estimated to be about 70lbs when alive.....

  • thats not a record pike my buddy a couple yrs ago caught a 48lbs pike on a tip up and some pike or muskie get bigger than that some muskie i think can get up to 60 or 70lbs

  • fucking dont cruel the fish that long, release him!!!

  • @flyfishextreme he was out of the water for like 1 and a half minuts calm down

  • that's normal size in swedish deep waters after the mating season

  • Thats a fat mothafuckah

  • @jmac171 .... the same fish got recaptured 18 months later by another angler, and was again released- with correct care and handling large fish live to fight another day

  • @miders

    perfect!!!!

  • @jmac171 WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?? ARSE...

  • @minandmotion All I'm saying is a fish's body and organs are designed to be supported by water. A fish this size can have really heavy organs and when people pick up huge fish like this out of the water it can hurt them. Especially toothy fish which people often hold near the bottom of gill plate and let the fish hang vertically. I work at a Angling Outfitters Store and would hope that my opinion is somewhat justified and carries some validity. At least consider it. Not just in this vid.

  • @jmac171 what about when people hold 200Ib+ cat fish. I have NEVER heard of a fish dying from gravity. The same large carp and pike are caught every year sometimes over 10 times and they never die. What evidence have you got that a fish has died becuase of gravity?? It might not do them any favours but neither does a hook in there mouth, as an angler we can only try to make it as comfortable as possible i.e unhooking mats etc

  • @jmac171 Can't support its organs out of water?.. LOL.. its a 33lb pike, not a 200 ton blue whale!

  • @bassglx ...watch part 2.... homo.....

  • ferty freeeee fukin pouuund mayte,,,,,,fuuuukin ellll lad

  • Did you release it afterwards?

  • Im from Wisconsin and i have to say WOW!

  • whata monster !

  • @camilcalice yeah thats definetly a pike look at the green spots

  • ЖЕСТЬ???

  • @camilcalice that's a pike, markings are a dead give away.

now, easiest way to tell is to check the sensory pores under the jaw if you can't see color patterns or if you caught a "silver pike" (look it up)

silver pike are northern pike that are silvery-blue with little to no markings, only way to ID it as a pike is by the pores, that and there aren't silver muskies or pickeral...

  • @camilcalice definately a Esox Lucius, Northern Pike. the chain pattern and the colors of the fins are a pretty dead give away that it's an adult pike.

apart from the coloratin on adult fish, the BEST way to tell if it's a muskie or a pike NOT based on coloration is to check the sensory pores on the underside of their jaw.

now, there is a "silver pike" that's actually silvery-blue with little to no markings... it's a rare form of northern pike.

  • @camilcalice thats a pike, DUMBASS, dont go saying shit you know nothing about..those light coloured ovular SPOTS indicate its a northern pike...foo

  • lovely pike, credit to english fishermen they have great respect for fish, unlike european river rapers...

  • Nice to see someone handling a fish in a proper manner for a change.

  • didnt you let it out again? or else .... FUCK YOU....

  • EPIC!!!

  • that is mental
