Shit, I haven't had any of the games that I love come out in awhile. No GTA 5, no Bully sequel (which isn't guaranteed but I hope...), and no Kingdom Hearts 3. Games are taking forever to come out these days, I remember when we'd only have to wait a year or two, now it's almost decades for one fucking game. The only game that I really, really need is Kingdom Hearts, because I want to see how it all ends. I love GTA but they're usually the same game, different story, and KH is a series.

However, If they use the Crystal Tools engine that was used in FF13, development might flow much faster.

The lead platform is the PS3 so the only porting would be to the Xbox 360. With FF13, the PS3 looked and sounded better due to the extra storage space of Bluray so I don't think the fanboys will have to worry about the graphics field. LOL

FF13 -2 is actually might become a success i hear that Square Enix actually did more shit to the game and listened to their fanbase this time around for it, being able to control monsters as your allies, reaction...commands? i know some people hated that in KH2 but i liked it actually, and a wide open area to explore without having to follow just a single path plus more sidequests
Cant wait for both FFv 13 and type-0 also FF13 i personally thought was a great game story and graphic wise the maps were too linear and the the game play didnt have as much depth as i wanted. Right! However...I remember reading in an article somewhere about Nomura mentioning how "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" is "exclusive" from a DEVELOPER'S STANDPOINT. Meaning that if this game does ever come out for any other console...it will be a PORT and they won't actually develop the game for another platform. Nomura obviously is trying to say that he has a lot of pressure from Wada to make it multiplatform.
But of course, he wants to make this game quite awesome. I can't wait!

I don't think Versus is gonna show at TGS this year. SE likes money and if they put Versus out too soon then 13-2 won't be milked dry for whatever they can get since Versus is the came most people actually want.
This is not me being a fanboy of ff13 but a fan of rpgs in general. Final fantasy 13 was a great game. People including (Final fantasy 7 fanboys) seem to think ff7 is the end all be all of final fantasy. Every FF takes on a different personality. Final fantasy games are all different so in some ways i think its not fair to base judgment based on the nostalgia of ff7. FF13 is a great edition to this continuing franchise versus will be no different

From a gameplay video I watched of Versus 13, I think they should have concentrated on finishing it sooner cause FF13 was a beautiful but an EPIC FAIL. & Versus 13's graphics somehow look better! lol let's just hope it has a deep story with memorable characters. i really hope it doesn't come out on 360 they'll just dumb it down again for the 360 then translate it to PS3 ff13 was a horrible game i not only played it, it also killed my ps3 with that built in fualt micro$oft orchestrated to take down sony
don't judge me i use to own a 360 then another one then another and they all died on me in one month THE SAME MONTH!!!! infact they lasted less then a week each that machine is a waste of space and money

The lead platform is the PS3 so the only porting would be to the Xbox 360. With FF13, the PS3 looked and sounded better due to the extra storage space of Bluray so I don't think the fanboys will have to worry about the graphics field. LOL

@NeoGameSpark thats good to hear still itpeeved me off that ff13 killed my ps3 and with it all my saves!!! and with out a doubt it was that game i should of figured it out when it caused my ps3 to shutdown on me did 3 time and i was like wtf till it eventually shut it down for good O.o

FF13 -2 is actually might become a success i hear that Square Enix actually did more shit to the game and listened to their fanbase this time around for it, being able to control monsters as your allies, reaction...commands? i know some people hated that in KH2 but i liked it actually, and a wide open area to explore without having to follow just a single path plus more sidequests

Cant wait for both FFv 13 and type-0 also FF13 i personally thought was a great game story and graphic wise the maps were too linear and the the game play didnt have as much depth as i wanted. It was a great game that i love (mostly jus the story) but im probably never gonna play it again ide rather watch the cut scences lol :)

@MrFinalgamer its coming out stricty for ps3...they said theyre looking into it for the 360 though. I also heard that theyre announcing it at next years tgs...so my guess is it comes out winter 2012. I've been following versus since last year; it looks fucking amazing.

@Lionpaw93 it's already confirmed it won't appear in TGS look at squares program for TGS it might have a 30 second trailer like last year but besides that i hardly think it will appear. also microsoft said that if a game comes out on ps3 first it won't appear in their consoles, if the ps3 version has more content than the 360 version it won't have a 360 port. it's really difficult that it has a port, besides nomura never makes multiplat. games. and also i have been following it since 2006 =P

Right! However...I remember reading in an article somewhere about Nomura mentioning how "Final Fantasy Versus XIII" is "exclusive" from a DEVELOPER'S STANDPOINT. Meaning that if this game does ever come out for any other console...it will be a PORT and they won't actually develop the game for another platform. Nomura obviously is trying to say that he has a lot of pressure from Wada to make it multiplatform.
But of course, he wants to make this game quite awesome. I can't wait!

I don't think Versus is gonna show at TGS this year. SE likes money and if they put Versus out too soon then 13-2 won't be milked dry for whatever they can get since Versus is the came most people actually want.

This is not me being a fanboy of ff13 but a fan of rpgs in general. Final fantasy 13 was a great game. People including (Final fantasy 7 fanboys) seem to think ff7 is the end all be all of final fantasy. Every FF takes on a different personality. Final fantasy games are all different so in some ways i think its not fair to base judgment based on the nostalgia of ff7. FF13 is a great edition to this continuing franchise versus will be no different

@JIX9ISLER1986 I am a Final Fantasy fan and personally, I though 8 & 9 were better than 7. That's just me. 7 was great but not up to the caliber of what the fanboys sell it out to be.
I am not judging Final Fantasy 13 SOULEY based off the previous Final Fantasy games but looking at it as an RPG gamer. Outside the pretty visuals and semi enjoyable story, That's really it.

From a gameplay video I watched of Versus 13, I think they should have concentrated on finishing it sooner cause FF13 was a beautiful but an EPIC FAIL. & Versus 13's graphics somehow look better! lol let's just hope it has a deep story with memorable characters. Also I'm pretty sure Versus 13 is gonna stay a PS3 exclusive cause Japan stopped selling 360's.

For the love of god, that's such a waste, all these people voted Phoenix Wright as a joke, and he ACTUALLY made it into the game...UMVC3 is probly gonna suck, if they actually improve the gameplay and features, I MAY consider it, I like the new Marvel characters.
