Gaustad's hit was clean, but I think that the other Bruins saw Gaustad throw his arms up like he didn't do anything, and they saw Marchand down, and just assumed Paul hit him high. When a player gives that "it wasn't me" pose, he usually did something dirty.
But I will say this. I'd rather have my team's players overreact trying to defend a teammate that they thought was cheapshot, then have them not react at all!

Gaustad's hit was clean, but I think that the other Bruins saw Gaustad throw his arms up like he didn't do anything, and they saw Marchand down, and just assumed Paul hit him high. When a player gives that "it wasn't me" pose, he usually did something dirty.
But I will say this. I'd rather have my team's players overreact trying to defend a teammate that they thought was cheapshot, then have them not react at all!

@skatevid2 I've had a firm stance on boston having the most biased fans int he league long before they won the cup. So u and all the other bruin fans who keep posting outlandish and ignorant comments such as "Gaustad slew foot him" and "I didn't see chara cross check gerbe" (of course u didn't lol) can stop using the "we won the Cup" defense. It has nothing to do with anything i said. Gaustad threw a clean check and boston got their panties in a bunch and decided to throw numerous cheapshots.

I'm all over youtube educating stupid people who say "Lucic only fights smaller players". @tumblecheerhockey it got them to the cup because the 4 teams they played, especially Vancouver in the finals, couldn't make Boston pay on the power play. If there was no repercussion to using your size and beating up the other team, why not do it? Even a Canucks fan can admit that. As soon as the goon-show actually causes them to lose a playoff series, they will change it up, Cam Neely is too classy to keep this up for long.
