is' The Buffalo Girls' a variation on 'Buffalo Gals' or a different tune altogether? great playing! trying to work this out on my banjo, in order to get the tune out of my head. having a little trouble hearing what the non tenor banjo is playing in the 'b' part. got any tips?

To manoah16: It is a cello-banjo. They were popular 100years ago or so and were the bass complement in banjo bands. They are now becoming popular again. Goldtone has recently made a very nice cello banjo available. I played one the other day. It has a deep "throaty" sound and I am currently in the process of coveting.
