thats nothing, my t-mobile bill is 2,100 dollars, they offered to set up payment plans but only after i pay 25 % of the total bill, and they said they will add late charges on top of that every month its late, 1.5% of the total, which is to say 30-40 dollars a month before they get tired off charging me and send it off to collectors...

I just cancelled my T-mobile account because of this video. I was also being taxed over 20% for things I have no idea what they were for. I dont remember the taxes being that high when i signed on. It also looks like t-mobile was rude and didnt care about the customer. My previous wireless phone company would waive fees and work with you on things like this. I think i will go back to them. I called them about it and they did nothing but justify they charge. Too bad I didn't get you. This was a year ago. NO ONE mentioned a one-time courtesy.

@911dispatcher Call them up. Depending on what state you live in, there are laws that allow you to go back and dispute the charges. Most states is 1 or three years. SOme are five. A few areno restrictions. I tihnk Oregon is a state with no limit. Ohio has a 5-year limit I am pretty sure.

Uhmm I'm only 31, and if I wanted a "Luxury item" such as a cell phone when I was a kid I paid for it. Don't get me wrong my parents worked hard and made good money and could have bought me such things. But kids who are just handed phones, cars, computers X-box, PS's etc... don't learn anything about money, value, responsibility.

That's my biggest issue with Tmobile -- THEY WANT everyone to be ignorant so the chances increase that they can SCREW someone with such an exorbitant bill. When you were a kid, you COULDN'T have done anything _without_knowing_it that would have carried such a penalty.

The big difference here is I actually speak from customer service for AT&T (wireless) for over a year and telling you the business practices. It is called a Re-Rate. With AT&T, if you ask for a one-time courtesy re-rate for overages that are 100% your stupidity they will still give it to you. And if they don't the manager always does.

(He assumed it was because he'd never had to pay extra) I used it on my computer for a few day and ATT shut him off and charged him OVER $1000. I called them about it and they did nothing but justify they charge. Too bad I didn't get you. This was a year ago. NO ONE mentioned a one-time courtesy.

He no longer lives with me and since upgrading to Win 7, my digital phone directory doesn't work (meaning I don't have easy access to his phone number), but with a little effort I could get you his phone number and ATT account number.
I would be glad to report that ATT corrected this egregious error... and would be surprised.

@911dispatcher Call them up. Depending on what state you live in, there are laws that allow you to go back and dispute the charges. Most states is 1 or three years. SOme are five. A few areno restrictions. I tihnk Oregon is a state with no limit. Ohio has a 5-year limit I am pretty sure.

They used the excuse "We can't discuss his account with you" to refuse to even consider making an adjustment.
I own a business and I've managed one for someone else. Cooperation isn't difficult to recognize or discern. ATT didn't show it or give it. I gave you a chance after praising ATT and you say, "Call them."
