Cirno doesn't NEED her nature. She HAS taken on Utsuho after all (and she's one of the 3 worst possible opponents for Cirno, the others being Mokou, and the extra boss when she's not holding back. (fire and lasers respectively))
Well, maybe Satori would also be a bad idea - since she rolls by using spellcards that stick in her opponent's mind negatively. For Cirno, that would be - you guessed it- Utsuho's.
Though said overall pattenr DOES make good freeze fodder if timed correctly.
This means that if Cirno foguht Flandre and survived up until her survival card, she's effectively won. (Cirno can freeze the first phase easy, and the second phase is simple pattern recognitino. The ifnal spellcard is effectively being repeatedly used here - though no fire bullet EVER in Flandre's, OFC.)

I imagine if fairies didn't have regeneration, the third of htem would be exploded for stealing Flandre's pattern.
