This movie and the first NMoES were my favorites. The 2nd Nightmare wasn't bad, but after that, the rest of the series and Freddy's Dead totally sucked. I have been watching Freddy films for about fifteen years, and though I haven't seen one in awhile (before now) I still have the nightmares pretty regularly. Wes Craven did a really good job with Freddy because he is the ultimate nightmare--an evil being that you can never escape because sleep is inevitable.

Sure it may look creepy but its a damn movie -_-. Anyways I thought the kids best scene was when he had the seziur that was pretty good..Disturbing...but good!

In this movie, evil is the form of Freddy Krueger. Since Nancy(Heather) from the Nightmare movies gave Freddy his strength, he wants Heather to be Nancy again. Since the Nightmare movies are over, that evil has no way to express "Freddy".
