Hello. My name is Denis.I'm living near airbase Chkalovsky, if you don't know, it's just a place, where ILYUSHIN IL-18 flying in our Air Force (Russia).I have many videos of him, and for us it's not so rare airplane :-).But, what's I'm talking about....your panel of IL-18 is awsome! Can I buy it?This panel is my dream and I will do most of all to get it :-)
hello, I need some help..did you have any trouble after starting up the plane?I downloaded an Il-18 from surclaro and after the start up the Differential Brakes turn on and I can't move the plane
Thanks, Have you used Captin Sim C-130 engine effect for smoke and start up smoke? Your panel is absolutely fantastic , are you able to share it with us? Many thanks
Perfectly Done! Please can you send me this panel?I'm from Russia, and i am living in the place, were mulitary ilyishin 18 are flying now, and it's rare sounds of engines is AWESOME.I LOVE THIS PLANE!
Geez, Ed, your supply of cool Russian aircraft and killer panels appears to be bottomless! Another great find for tooling around my Russian sceneries. I really must bite the bullet and try to figure out that PT Tu154 one of these days, as well.
Thankyou John, I have custom made all the gauges (bar the TCAS) on this IL-18 and the Yak -18T to make them easier to jump in and fly.
But not the PT TU-154M. She really is right up there as one of my all time favourite simulations (apart from the fact she is beautiful....I use the VITAMIN model btw)
I cannot wait to get back in her cockpit...but next up is the lovely DC-8.
Ed does it again. I can't imagine where you get all these great gauges that match perfectly with your 2d panel shots. You should write us all a manual on how to duplicate what you create. I'd pay big bucks to learn under Master Captain Picaso Ed!
Thankyou, I learn't a long time ago that it is far better to make your own gauges if possible than to use other peoples. Unfortunately I am really bad at writing manuals but I can suggest starting the the avsim aircraft and panel design forum.
the smoke effect is very good... but i cant help thinking its just a *little* overdone.... it should be just a tiny bit more subtle to be even more realistic...
Nice, I like this bird. Where did you get it from?
I don't like your engine sounds very much. I'd like to recommend you to download Samdim's Tu-114 because its turoprop sounds are a lot better. The Tu-114 does not have the same engines, but in my opinion this is a more realistic option, because there are only very few russian prop soundsets avaliable.
where did you get this amazing il-18??

I learnt how to start up and fly her once. I then flew other aircraft and by the time I came back to flying her again had forgotten.
So made my own panel with custom gauges which is easier to operate and has some added extras. But I need more IL-18 cockpit pics to finish it.

Amazing Ed But It's Very Hard To Fly Without The FMC LoL Keep It Up Man
imabadr 2 years ago
it's not that hard. you can fly with the VOR NDB and waypoints using nav mode;) still, the FMC is better.

I loved that smoke effect after the rotation...what else can I say??,,,hehe, you're the captain...
Nothing like the old classic beauties...my favorite is the known DC-3, but from the Russian babes my favorite is this ones, the Ilushin IL18...
