Used to have a absolutely brilliant version of "trouble in the world" with girl backing singers - perhaps from this concert? Cassette is long since shagged of course. Would be great if anybody could post it!
One of the great bands of the New Wave era ... in fact of any era ! ... Love this song ... the girls' harmonies in the chorus adds a haunting feel to it ... Wayne
Please upload this again but improve the audio if can. Its pretty fooked .
Luv this band luv this song and Iagree ozbocfan, 2 and a half albums of pure bliss and amazing rock n roll. Not sure if u can call them punk , they are way too good on their instruments to be punks ;)
I've had the chorus for this brilliant song going round inside my head for years and despite hours of net searching I could never remember what it was until now. Hadn't heard it for about 25 years. Thanks for uploading it.
I love this band like no other. Peter Perrett was a wild genius who somehow kept it together for 2 1/2 classic albums (Baby's got a Gun sags a little in parts). But how the memories come flooding back of '80 and 81. A truly great band and one I will never forget
@ozbocfan Well put my friend, even Baby has somthing to offer, the first two were pretty outstanding though. I saw them when they reformed which could have been a road traffic type mess of a situation....but actually was very good!
Memories of Erics Club Matthew Street in Liverpool,Late 70s.One of my favorite songs from that time, very surprised it hasnt been covered by the likes of the kooks etc.
haha what memories ,1978/79 -yates' wine lodge, the grapes then Erics , buzzcocks were great there , then a big punch up with the scousers outside , FU***** BLISS . And you tell that to kids nowadays and they wont believe ya ;- ) thanks for the blast from the past
Incredible song by an incredible band.

I remember this on a 12", blue it was with Lovers of Today and Peter and the Pets on the B side
.I'm pretty sure most of the backing vocals was Pauline Murray from the Geordie band Penetration. Great video, thanks for posting!

I don't think other 'punk' bands had chicks singing, probably cause it sounded too good.

I have always loved this song. Peter Perrett writes fantastic songs ,and the Only Ones as a band, are so tight. Even Serpant's Shine!!

Such good songs. If you listen to their albums and don't relate something is very, very wrong.
