Sweet. I loved that race. I used a maxed-out Ford GT '05 and dusted some nasty Viper and the freaking Chaparral 2J and just beat them by tenths of a second to get gold. Blocking and powersliding like crazy. I never liked the Esperante and didn't want to spend the money on a CSR5 Corvette. Those 20,000,000 credit cars are well out of my reach at this point.

see the physics are realistic. the only reason polyphony didn't want to do damage was because they want to perfect it before they released it. but they had to give the fans what they wanted.

i caused a crash like this, picked off a supercar on daytona with my camaro, i kept thinking, it's a pretty bad day when some nut comes by in their supped up camaro and smashes your 500k supercar in a race. even with all the custom tuning and customizing i threw into that car it still would be cheaper then the supercar. :)

@barkerbrothers619 Yes, I agree fully, forza is better in some respects like graphics and enjoyment, but gt5's realism in actual racing and car mechanics is arguably better. I am no fanboy, I love both......

As for physics, people tend to say that GT5 is superior... but I think both are similar.

You'll want to perform racing mods on the zr1. Then go into the shop and by all available upgrades. Tires are the most important as to channel all the hp to the road instead of doing a burnout. Go for soft Racing!..........

........Go into tuning setup and then into ur body kit and set front and rear downforce to 2 notches from the top. Go to your transmission and set top speed to 380-400km/h, whichever suits you most. And heypresto, thats how I won the event (with 3 or 4 retries). If your still not happy, try medium racing tyres!.........

........It may provide slightly better handling on the fast ring corners by letting your car slide a little instead of pasting it to the ground! Hope it helps, and be sure to subscribe!
