It looks like you have a mix of gravel and hydroton. How's that working? Also, I think the other air stone would be more beneficial aerating the water from the fish tank - some air will stay suspended in the water for the plants, plus the ebb & flow will provide air for the roots. BTW your setup looks really nice - some can be pretty messy looking.;)
