I see this to mean a highering of consciousness. Ultimately repentance is a form of revelation of truth.
God is the only one who can "convict" you of sin. It is Him "revealing" to you, that you are a sinner. You will never discover that on your own. It is this REPENTANCE that comes from God convicting you that you are a sinner and in need of a Savior because you can not save your self. That is the meaning in Greek and English.
Now I suggest if God has never convicted you to come to repentance then pray for it because without God you will never be born again and should expect to go to hell. If you already had the definition, there was no need to come here and ask.

I wont tell you the specifics of what happened to them because then it will make this email too long for you to read but, this rules out any possibility that it was all in my head or that i was suffering from some disease or mental disorder because it happened to 3 other people. We completely rid ourselves from these demons by going around our home room for room, and rebuking these demons in the name of Jesus Christ. They have never bothered us again to this day.
I thanked God for this and I burned all the witchcraft books and ouija boards, as well as all the other things i had from the occult. I have never to this day, been attacked by any demons or seen anything unsual since i asked god for forgivness and asked him to stop the demons.
These demons would later attack 3 of my family members who didn't believe me when I told them about what happened to me. They were terrified as well.

I didn't know what to do but I was petrified and didn't move a muscle. I started praying to God and asked him to forgive me for my sins and for contacting these demons in the first place. I promised that If he stopped this demon for good, that I would never again have anything to do with the occult. I literally prayed myself to sleep.
The next morning I woke up feeling a sense of peace, and the fear that was always present was suddenly gone.
The shadow flew directly over on top of my head and hovered there for a while and then I couldn't see it anymore. Immediatley after that, I heard footsteps coming from the hallway towards my room and then in my room walking directly towards me. My legs were seperated about a foot from eachother and I actually felt when this demon stepped in between my legs because the bed in that spot caved in! I was terrified and i coverd my face with my blanket.
So there was a little visibility in my room, very small though. Against the wall in my room i could see what looked like shadows flying wildly back and forth. Seconds after i saw that, a dark, dark shadow, darker than the other shadows and darker than the darkness in my room, zoomed into the corner of my room and was just hovering there. I said to my self what the heck is that! I startet getting scared at this point.
I got to the point to where i knew i needed to do something before things got worse. I remembered that in the bible, the disciples would cast out demons in the name of Jesus.
On this occassion, I was in my room with the lights turned off and I was in bed and getting ready to go to sleep. My computer screen was off but the pc speaker has a small green light that stays on when it is powerd on.
I didnt tell them that I was into the occult though, so they thought i was going crazy or something.
The attacks would happen everytime I would go to sleep. I was afraid of going to sleep! On one attack, I actually felt my body rise into the air and i felt my feet touch the ceiling of my house which is 9 feet high. On a different attack I heard the demon whispering in my ear some crazy language that did not recognize.
At the same time I felt the horrible sensation of my life bieng sucked out of me, almost as if I was fading away into death. I don't know how else to explain it but its the most horrible thing i have ever felt. Minutes after that the entity would stop the attack and i would be able to get up and be in my five senses. I was terrified and I knew a demon had attacked me. I told my family about this but they didn't beleive me.
I started to feel like someone was always watching me and a sense of fear started to develop around me all the time. I immediatley thought to myself that the demons were causing all this because prior to meddling in the occult, I never had these feelings or unsual things happen.
Things began to get worse. When I would go to sleep I would wake up feeling something on top of me holding me down and I couldn't open my eyes or speak.
I also used the ouija board (which is not a game by the way, but a dangerous tool)
to contact different demons. I knew this was wrong, and i knew this was a great sin against God, but at the time i didn't care as I was just a casual beleiver, but not a true beleiver in God.
With time, I started to feel a variety of unsual things happening. I would constantly feel something pull the back of my shirt but when i turned around there was nothing.
POST#2 have doubted the existence of God many times in my life. Had it not been for a certain experience I went through when I was 19, or 20 years old; I would probably
have become an athiest, or something of the like.
At that age I started becoming interested in the occult. I bought books on witchcraft and occult tools to be able to conjure up demonic spirits in an attempt to have them work to make my life better. I wanted money, cars, power, etc.
I too have been through a deep life changing experience in my life. @TheWillwillwill Lets make something clear, if you do die and go to hell than it's your fault not God's. Man is hold accountable for their sins and suffer the consequences. See you view God as a tyrant, but when has a tyrant ever sacrificed his only Son to save others, tyrants don't do that and since when do tyrants give choice and free will to others, they don't do that either. Tyrants take away free will, God doesn't. Don't confuse suffering the consequences for your sins with tyranny.

@jgibson509 My God is universal. My God does not exclude anyone, but these who choose to exclude themselves. Repent means to have a renewal or change of the mind/consciousness. It means to be awaken or illuminated. Jesus learn how to achieve this. It is done through acceptance and love.
Telling people that they must believe a specific dogma to be saved is the opposite of the message of Christ. It is fear mongering and it leads people away from the truth. It is what you would call satanic.

You can't change truth or do things your way. Jesus, by the way, did not 'LEARN to achieve' anything. He IS and WAS and always will be. He was before Abraham. He is the Alpha and Omega. Well, Maxwell's right, alot (not all) of 'chrisitians" ARE illiterate simpletons who no nothing other than what there Sunday school teacher or sky pilot-holy joe minister tells them. In fact alot of christians can't answer the big questions like what is man, or why he/she was born, why did God create the universe,etc, etc. If you ask your average Sunday church goer those questions, you'll most likely get a nonsensical response like "well, we live or lives,then we go heaven or hell when we die".

I wont tell you the specifics of what happened to them because then it will make this email too long for you to read but, this rules out any possibility that it was all in my head or that i was suffering from some disease or mental disorder because it happened to 3 other people. We completely rid ourselves from these demons by going around our home room for room, and rebuking these demons in the name of Jesus Christ. They have never bothered us again to this day.

I thanked God for this and I burned all the witchcraft books and ouija boards, as well as all the other things i had from the occult. I have never to this day, been attacked by any demons or seen anything unsual since i asked god for forgivness and asked him to stop the demons.
These demons would later attack 3 of my family members who didn't believe me when I told them about what happened to me. They were terrified as well.

I didn't know what to do but I was petrified and didn't move a muscle. I started praying to God and asked him to forgive me for my sins and for contacting these demons in the first place. I promised that If he stopped this demon for good, that I would never again have anything to do with the occult. I literally prayed myself to sleep.
The next morning I woke up feeling a sense of peace, and the fear that was always present was suddenly gone.

The shadow flew directly over on top of my head and hovered there for a while and then I couldn't see it anymore. Immediatley after that, I heard footsteps coming from the hallway towards my room and then in my room walking directly towards me. My legs were seperated about a foot from eachother and I actually felt when this demon stepped in between my legs because the bed in that spot caved in! I was terrified and i coverd my face with my blanket.

So there was a little visibility in my room, very small though. Against the wall in my room i could see what looked like shadows flying wildly back and forth. Seconds after i saw that, a dark, dark shadow, darker than the other shadows and darker than the darkness in my room, zoomed into the corner of my room and was just hovering there. I said to my self what the heck is that! I startet getting scared at this point.

I got to the point to where i knew i needed to do something before things got worse. I remembered that in the bible, the disciples would cast out demons in the name of Jesus.
On this occassion, I was in my room with the lights turned off and I was in bed and getting ready to go to sleep. My computer screen was off but the pc speaker has a small green light that stays on when it is powerd on.

I didnt tell them that I was into the occult though, so they thought i was going crazy or something.
The attacks would happen everytime I would go to sleep. I was afraid of going to sleep! On one attack, I actually felt my body rise into the air and i felt my feet touch the ceiling of my house which is 9 feet high. On a different attack I heard the demon whispering in my ear some crazy language that did not recognize.

At the same time I felt the horrible sensation of my life bieng sucked out of me, almost as if I was fading away into death. I don't know how else to explain it but its the most horrible thing i have ever felt. Minutes after that the entity would stop the attack and i would be able to get up and be in my five senses. I was terrified and I knew a demon had attacked me. I told my family about this but they didn't beleive me.

I started to feel like someone was always watching me and a sense of fear started to develop around me all the time. I immediatley thought to myself that the demons were causing all this because prior to meddling in the occult, I never had these feelings or unsual things happen.
Things began to get worse. When I would go to sleep I would wake up feeling something on top of me holding me down and I couldn't open my eyes or speak.

to contact different demons. I knew this was wrong, and i knew this was a great sin against God, but at the time i didn't care as I was just a casual beleiver, but not a true beleiver in God.
With time, I started to feel a variety of unsual things happening. I would constantly feel something pull the back of my shirt but when i turned around there was nothing.
