@stegsify Thanks for your kind words. I really appreciate it. The interview was supposed to be around three and a half minutes to four minutes but went for more than seven. Patrick did have words with me after though that was kind of my fault. He did not join us for breakfast after and I was told he was in a bad mood lol :)
You have only gotton better with age honeysuckle. Wait, let me watch this again........My, my, my, yep definetely better with age you little devil...GRRRRowl!!
Lol yes the scary thing is that it was genuine. Hehe. I only realised how far I went after watching it. What a stalker I was back then. Wow what was he like at school? Thanks so much for your comment :)
I never watched BB, and having just seen this, I really thought you were doing it "just for the cameras"! So what a surprise to then discover it was a genuine performance, and very entertaining too! An Oscar on its way. Why should I comment?..well I went to school with Bobby in 1967. Thanx for jogging my memory.
Thanks so much for that. I love Bobby and one of my biggest regrets living abroad is not being able to go to his brilliant concerts any more. He is a lovely, kind and genuine man without the ego of some performers. He has always put a smile on my face and when I see him perform I see a man who is enjoying himself and having great fun. He is very underated and I believe up there with the best. Thanks again for the story. Brilliant :)
'Anthony Newley said "my favourite piano player of all time is in tonight" so i looked around thinking 'who's in? i wonder who he means?', and then he said "Bobby Crush, will you stand up please" and so bobby crush stood up and everyone applauded!' (Bobby Crush)
Bobby is spookier than something from Clockwork Orange on pension day. Singing with the puppet took the cake. aaaaah! You look great on television. +++The Saint+++
Was Patrick alright with you afterwards? You had a better TV presence than him : )

I remember a quiz programme in the late 1980's early 1990's called "Sounds Like Music" presented by Bobby Crush and made by TSW. Great fun it was.
Your clip on The Big Breakfast is inspired. Best of luck to you mate.
