@nicsword1 jazz has simply lost its former popularity, which is what eventually happens to all types of music. some day, the worthless, simple-minded dance music or alt rock or what ever you listen to will lose popularity too, and it will be TOTALLY FORGOTTEN, unlike jazz, because jazz is an art form, though it isnt as popular as it once was. also, I don't know what a performance is?!?! i am a fairly accomplished jazz AND classical musician. what the hell do you know about anything?!?
