the first time i watched this i was reading some short story in my class and our teacher told us that that was the reason that a kid in the story died. i think it's kinda funny how you find random bits of information on something having nothing to do with what you're doing somewhere else and you can still find a connection.

When you're walking towards your car after picking Shaun up, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance. Check it out. It offers an interesting theory, although the city in the game doesn't really seem like San Francisco.

Ya see, what actually happened, but which the developers had to cut away from due to the graphic nature of the scene, was that Jason overdosed on stupidity and his head implodes the moment Ethan saves him.

This is why Grace freaks out so badly over him rather than Ethan, because an imploded head is a lot more startling than someone being hit by a fairly slow moving car.
