Not every jew is sick but they all are carriers of mental illness. In 1900 there were 1,058,135 jews in the USA while in 1970 there were 5,868,555 which is an increase of 454.8%. In 1900 there were 62,112 persons confined in public mental hospitals in the USA while in 1970 there were 339,027 which is an increase of 445.7%. In the same period the USA population rose from 76,212,368 to 203,211,926, an increase of 166.6%. Prior to the influx of jews the USA was a mentally healthy nation. No more.
Johns Hopkins University has been studying for a long time now the obvious link between jews and mental illness. You can find the web page by searching for "Why study ashkenazism?" I actually have sympathy for the jews because their collective mental illness causes them to continually do evil acts against other races so that they can be punished for it which feeds into their "religion of persecution".
I can totally relate. I have had my fair share of stigmatizing and discriminating attitudes and behaviour withing the mental health sector. As a result I am doing some work on this which you can see at transcendingstigma.webs.com. Thank you for bringing awareness to this subject.
The more we share out stories, the more we can see that we are not alone and that we can heal. Keep fighting, for yourself and for everyone else. You are making a difference, for yourself as well as for others! I would love it if you went into the mental health field. I have had my own problems with the mental health system but I am determined to continue with pursuing my doctorate in Psychology. Keep going, and keep telling your stories!
I just wanted to let you know that the above video is required viewing for a graduate class. You are not only helping those with mental issues you are helping professionals see their jobs in a new light. Keep up the good work.
Wow, had I known that I would have made it better quality. Thank you very much for letting me know, I don't know what to say but I hope it does help. Take care :)
sorry to hear about the problems your having, I can't really understand the American Goverment, they spend billions if not trillions of dollars on fighting wars and yet for a world leading country to treat there ill people like you are all being treated I think is just total bullshit, Im lucky I live in Australia and I had no problems getting all the help I needed and benifits due to my mental problems, no offence but America to me seems so stuffed its beyond the joke, I really feel you all.
The American Government can't spend money into providing adequate healthcare to the mentally and physically ill. But they certainly can use taxpayer dollars in bailing out the white collar criminals within Wall Street & the financial system to the tune of $800 billion.
HI I totally agree with you that is why I think our country should go with univeral health care like canada. You are going through almost the same thing I did and I live in michigan. Ignore the negitive comments and ya know keep helping all. Im on effexor XR right now and my medicaid here we have to go to dr's that make you wait forever to get in by then look i will go into a nervous breakdown by then lol...bye!!
i agree, but remeber that canada is spending to much money, the US gov't is not spending enough money, and the candada gov't is spending to much, in a matter of years they will go bankrupt...
I actually did find them, and when I made the video I was in the process of going through the "spokane mental health" system--complete with counseling, seeing nurses, and evaluations. I most certainly did know the resources available to me, and they differ from state to state. They need major improvement in MANY states as a matter of fact.
Not only that, but I assume you haven't been to every state, so you cannot possibly know about all of them. If you had watched the video, you'd hear me speaking about the ones in my state. Maybe they are better where you live, and if so that is great. However, I have spoken to many people from all over who are very unhappy with their mental health systems.
Thank you so much for your videos. I am 35 and have been in the mental health system here in california since I was 17. I have SI'd for over a decade and am still struggling with it. It has been a roller coaster ride for me also. RFinally I have disability benefits from my state and I have a part time job which is allowed but youy can't work full time or earn more than about $800. Anyways, I think you are very courageous and I wish you all the best
BTW I totally agree with you on government help going to those who don't need it. I've been disqualified so many times even though I need Medicaid badly. I get sick very easily due to my sensitive skin and over all body and I can't pay $2000 every time I need help for something, but the government doesn't give it to me. But I am continuing fighting for it.
I never had any problems with Citrus (a mental clinic in my area) for my father. He gets his monthly visits which use to be weekly but my dad is getting better. But I have known bad mental clinic around the area for the elderlies. As for working, the Disability Act says that you can work and still get help from the state, also depending where you live if you work you can't earn no more than $200 a month.
I don't agree, based on the things i have heard from other youtube users and friends across the country who have dealt with their mental health system.. Anyway, I talked more about it in my video entitled "stigmas within the mental health system"... Although neither of us has experienced the mental health system across the country so we can't know for sure.
Mmm, If I could understand english perfectly...well I'm about to study in psychology in Quebec and I'm already doing few researches. I'm glad to live in Quebec, with the RAMQ...
keep going! I try to improve my skills with your video :P
hey you, it's vanesssa. wow, i just randomly found you and it's making me laugh. i was watching someones video diary and then it said xsullengirlx and i thought, "that's christy!" or it could be. and it was. weird. love you hun.
I would suggest you read some Wayne Dyer material. Start meditating and start focusing on positives . Focus on what you want out of life. Therapists dont have magic answers. They're just human beings like you and me w/ their own challenges. You look healthy too. Start walking, or doing something fitness related to help relieve stress. Cut the booze. It only acts as cups of artificial courage. Don't be afraid. Keep making videos. It seems a great outlet for you.
anything that is government funded seems to be screwed up. there is NOTHING out there for people with eating disorders who want to recovered unless they want to go into a treatment center that costs a ton of money that they don't have. keep making your vids, i love to watch them!
Hey I take Celexa too, after going through Zoloft and Paxil, I think it's the best.. hard to tell if it works, but there are no side effects so that's good :)
It's great to see ya again darlin! Keep on postin videos you rock! You will always have a friend in me :)
Yea! I was so happy to see a new video this morning. Congrats on the job! Good for you on setting these goals too... You can achieve anything you set your heart to :)
Isn't unbridled capitalism great. Lobby groups and multinational companies control the government and force high drug prices and pressure them to vote against extra money to go into a "socialist" program such as health care. Canada doesn't have it much better. (Canadian)
You are correct, the system is broken. You are so well-spoken and intelligent. I see you as a leading Therapist someday. Will the state pay for a college writing class? You are a force and you know it. Find your passion. You are beautiful
Good idea :) I was thinkin that too, either being a great therapist, or being able to make a positive change in the healthcare system. Keep strong Christie!

Almost everything you talked about was a state problem, not a flaw in the Mental Health System.
