You can not compare this to Lennox, because it is not Kelly's song it's Annie's.

I'd seriously smack that girl singing along. If you want to mouth the words to a song at a concert, fine, but dont ruin it for the people around you by singing off key. Especially at a Kellie Clarkson concert, shes just too amazing.
What the camera's microphone picks up is totally different to what you could actually hear at the concert. There were probably a thousand other people singing along off key and it wouldn't have made a difference because Kelly was amplified so loud! Believe me - I saw her twice in 2005 & couldn't even hear myself singing along! Whoever was recording this was probably concentrating on not getting caught by security rather than listening for off key singers.
this was a really good cover, i mean really good until she started singing the higher notes at the end. she could have kept the song in the same octave as lennox did and it would have been even better than it was! but kelly is still so awesome!

What a powerful performance. Kelly is such a beautiful singer. This performance reaffirmed her as definitely one of my two favourite singers. I love how she is an interpreter as well. She doesn't just blindly mimic the original - she sings it from her heart, with her character and vocal style imprinted on it.

I never heard of this song before I saw this video but I really like it! I just tried to listen to the original a few seconds ago but I think I prefer this version better...sorry Annie's fans. Kelly rocks though and she made this her own :)

If this was any other artist covering an Annie song, I'd be hunting them down with an axe. However, I'd have to say Kelly's got awesome taste, and she's one of the few artists of the 2000s that I respect and enjoy. Go Kelly!

What a powerful performance. Kelly is such a beautiful singer. This performance reaffirmed her as definitely one of my two favourite singers. I love how she is an interpreter as well. She doesn't just blindly mimic the original - she sings it from her heart, with her character and vocal style imprinted on it.

uberrios- possibly lol. Been to two addicted concerts. Bt the way sarajean10 this is an 80's song when Annie Lennox broke from the Eurythmics and went out on her own. Good song. Kelly has that blues, just hiding. I am still waiting for a full blown Janis Joplin to pop out of her.
