The BKRR interchanges with Pan Am Railways (formerly Guilford, Boston & Maine) and Canadian Pacific (formerly Delaware & Hudson) at Eagle Bridge, New York. CP operates from Mechanicville to Eagle Bridge via trackage rights on Pan Am.

The train doesn't run anymore, I live by the railroad tracks and haven't seen it in a long time. I kinda miss it, Grew up with it going by and in the winter when they had to stop to clear snow the workers and me would have snowball fights =D
Yes, that line still does run! They don't run on the far west end as often as they run between Eagle Bridge and Greenwich Jct. The short branch to Salem has been out of service for a while as there are no freight customers in Salem.
This was shot April 7, 2004. The 605 left from Greenwich and made a full round trip to Eagle Bridge and return. Light engine ran between Greenwich and Cargill. The sun started to come out as the train neared Shushan on the return trip north.

Why do they need a derail on that line? Looks like you'd get it fro free with the quality of the track. ;-)
