  • History is beautiful. Im Mexican-American and I always see Mexicans and African-Americans fighting each other. I never understand what they are fighting for. Can we just live and learn from each others' cultural background?

  • I wish the more Americans ("black" and "brown") of California and Texas would watch this video and see the beautiful interaction of fellowship amongst differ. cultures and respect each other... It's cool to be a africanist (I am) but the Olmecs were more than likely indigenous of that region not directly African.or some lost tribe of Israel.

  • Mother Tanetta Muhammed is powerful

  • I enjoyed the video, Iam from Congo and Yanga is a village of my ancestors and had great influence during the Kongo kingdom. i recognized in the video the song rithm and the circle dance perfomed at the end of this video.

    love you, keep the connection

  • @chuyoloco putos negros!

  • putos negros .. agarrenlos

  • @kyuukiful chinga tu puta madre pinche pendejo...metete tus palabras por el culo buey

  • Curiously YANGA in a West African dialect of Yoruba means PRIDE

  • The people of this town are overwhelmingly, and I mean overwhelmingly average Mexican ie mestizos Spanish/Native American.

They regard the statue in the same way as the Spanish people in Spain regard the Arabic script in some of the cities of Andalucia. God knows what this old Chinese woman meant to do.

  • @giltedged2 For your information this women is a wife of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and she is not Chinese, she is a Black women from Detroit. The Afro Mestizo are proud of the statute of Yanga and their African ancestry. Why would any of the indigenous people of Mexico be proud to be Spanish, a foreign people who destroyed their civilizations and forced them to be Catholic and worship white people as gods and take their language?

  • @ShabazzAllah1

Still the Mexicans do not give a toss. The people of the town are Mexican ie Spanish/Indegenous and like all Spaniards do not take kindly to American Negroes bringing their irrevelant psychological baggage to Mexico.

The people of Mexico are proud of their joint Spanish/Indigenous which includes the Olmecs

  • @giltedged2 See you don't know what the hell your talking about, the Olmec's came from the African continent in ancient times to do trade with the Mexican people and they mixed with them. The Spanish are new to south and central America they are white invaders who subjugated and enslaved both the Mexican and African peoples. It is the time for are families Black and Brown to come back together as one people like we did in Ancient Meso America and throw the white Spanish mentality in the garbage

  • What journey? It's only a bus ride. And what a load of bull-shit "sharing", "journey", "knowledge" I'm sure even in this city the locals thought that the American Negresses were freaks. And the locals certainly do not look like that statue, apart from the two obviously chosen teenage girls. Also I see their games/dance is completely identical to the ones I see in the villages of the Comunidad Valenciana in Spain

  • Great video! This speaks the truth of the Africans and blacks in Mexico !

  • the real isrealites are of dark skin, and not the africans...

yo... africans and negros throught the americas are totally different people,.. and plus they dont even get along... and some of those africans even admit enslaving and selling them into slavery to the euros. not africans, isrealites.. no other titles

the so called natives also captured and enslaved, later escaped just to be captured and enslaved also, negro, latino, natives of the americas are all brothers and jews.. shalom

  • the bible says that the northern kingdom after escapeing from the asserians, traveled on ships for a year and half.. before landing and dwelling on a land never dwelt on before..

the americas was the only land not dwelt on durning those times, it also says that god calmed the seas and showed them signs.. very beatiful stuff to find out and know that the so called native american, latino, and negro are the real jews and gods true and only choosen people on this earth. we are the greatest people

  • What bible????

  • all the negros that came in slave ships from africa where not africans, they where the israelites that fled from their kingdom after losing it, they where able to blend in and settle there since they where dark skinned people, the natives of the americas are also israelites who where taken captive & later escaped and fled in ships, on a yr & a half voyage, reaching a land never dwelt before, which was the now know amreicas, the negro that was brought here on ships and the natives are israelites

  • your tru nationality is that you are the lost 12 tribres of israel your not african..ahahah very nice

  • I'm a Chicano, from the United States, and I am very proud of my Afro-Mexican roots. : )

  • u dont have african roots... brother..

the negros that where sold to the europeans as slaves where not africans, those being sold where israelites which had gone to parts of africa after losing their kingdom to invaders, and once those invaders reached africa, the africans, didnt want to get over taken and slaved, so they gave up the israelites who where hiding amongst the darker people of africa, since they where dark also....

negros and indians of americas are the real jews

  • yanga declarado heore nacional!!

  • I don't have any black ancestor but I live in Yanga and I'm proud of it!

  • much respect to the afro-mexicans from southern mexico..i'm mexican of indigenous mayan ancestry from el estado de yucatan.

  • wow I get so excited watching this kinda videos, Im so proud of my african roots!!! I see how ppl are still so close to african culture in some regions, and I get a lil jealous cuz I was raised in mexico city so I barely know about afromexican history. But like I said, Im so proud of being part black!

  • wooo veracruz!! Proud to be an afromexican

BLACK MEXICO!

  • It is amazing how Africa influenced Mexico in so many ways. Yanga fought for his freedom and later many Afro-Mexicans fought for Mexico's independence like the second President Guerrero with African roots. The music son jarocho (La Bamba) is such a vibrant music that has the African, Indigenous and Spanish influences. Thanx for the video. Greetings from a Peruvian American that also recognizes the Afro-Peruvian heritage.

  • jose maria morelos also was part black..and i believe zapatas mom was black also..

  • Yes, that's so true.. I started studing this just in 2007 cause i moved to Canada and people used to said "how come you're black and Mexican" I have black roots and I'm damn proud of it :D
