Everything that comes out of the mouth of this middle-class liberal jew fuckboy is a lie and a trick.
This type of motherfucker loves black people so much he's OK with 12 million of them being aborted, many of them defecated into a fucking toilet and FLUSHED.
Even if he sounds like he's telling the truth you can believe he working entirely in his own race and class interest. Fucking smug lying cunt.
@TheAkashdeepJabandar uhm... you are aware of the race of the person you are accusing of being racist, right? so you're calling him a self-hating racist or what IS your point? I probably shouldnt even dignify your comment with an answer, but... felt like doing it anyway, maybe shine some light on your obvious ignorance...
i would like to give but i know the government well the illuminati has some suspicious plans all of a sudden caring for haitis?? wtf b4 the earthquake half of america had no clue what a haitis was idk search up on the illuminati and pen ur eyes with the holy spirit
The people of all the world must not contribute to colaborationist institutions. The donations must be sent to the peoples organizations and unions, like Batay Ouvriye, that acted against the occupation long before the earthquake. Otherwise, the donations will be diverted by corruption of government or will be used to support politically that government and the occupation regime.
The people must know that Haiti is being occupied by military forces of US, and was previsouly occupied by the "peace" forces of MINUSTAH (Brazilian-led occupation since overtrow of the elected presidente J.B.Aristid). The MINUSTAH attacked workers strikes and student protests, and did not any humanitarian aid (as said by gvnmt propaganda in Brazil). The responsibility of the catastrophe lay on the occupation that maintained the poverty, low wages and no democracy at all.
Good point, but the world did not just "stand back and watched", the world actively took part in engineering the poverty in the first place by bringing dictators into power and making Haiti sweatshop central.
Thank you for mentioning Doctors Without Borders, rather than the obvious American Red Cross. ARC has lost my respect when they billed a family friend of mine for work done in Florida after a hurricane.
I feel so bad for the peoples of HAITI. It could of happen anywhere in the world.
I believe haiti can over come all the pain & sufferin they go thru. I truly believe is bein punish. The country of HAITI suffer so much because they were the 1st black nation to fight against slavery, 1st black nation to tell the white man that we didn't need them. Without Haiti we wouln't never had a Marcus Gavey, Malcolm X, Martin L King, Black Panter Movement, Civil Right Movement, The List Goes On.......
Because after the Haitian revolution (which started out as a slave revolt), France sent Haiti a bill for slave reparations- essentially making them pay France back for when they kept them as slaves. Haiti started paying that bill in 1804 and continued to pay it until the "debt" was cleared in 1948.
@bearberry842 ....if they collect that sum(if it really is that much...if so, please elaborate) The corrupt gov't will just pocket it like they have been doing. That Government needs a regime makeover.....ASAP!
@bsnowman Nope. The concerns raised about Wyclef's organization do not justify calling it a scam. Even the primary follow-up on the Smoking Gun documents, at Gawker, make that clear. There is ample evidence and corroboration of the real work Wyclef and his org have done for his home country.
Legitimate questions have been raised about how well they manage their money, and whether they're the most capable of applying donation money quickly & efficiently. But that does not constitute a "scam."
People are putting so much emphasis on the way that the Haitian government treats its people and everyone else... what about the PEOPLE of the nation that have gone through so much? Don't we have an obligation to help other nations and other people for the sake that they are people, just like us?

Is it just me or this is no coincidence that Haiti is catching so much hell? Haiti is probably a great place for Bush War Co, now headed by Obama, to test new virus strains, Connecticut Big Pharma to test their bio-weopons and cures, and military tactics for the National Guard to take over US cities and towns not devastated by disaster.
And I've heard the moon is made of Swiss cheese. Just because someone says something, you're not compelled to believe it. If you've got something like evidence, let's have it.
i know you're saying this b/c you don't know Haitian history. So I'll forgive you. But if you know Haitian history you'll realize the Haitian revolution's positive significance to US history and world history.
Because one guy came from there and "did stuff"? Wow, you look really intelligent right now. Go to college. Read some books. Please, for your sake and for everyone else's eyes and ears who have to be victim to your blissful ignorance.
I think that arguing that we should give aid to Haiti because it's a "nation of heroes" actually trivializes things...needing aid in a time of natural disaster is not a matter of merit. They're a nation of humans, just like us, and that's enough. In situations like this, entire countries should not be described as if they are individual people-- they are populations of people, such as we have all over the world, and they have the same needs as everybody else. Politics be damned.
I think the fundamental human tragedy, and the fundamental responsibility that comes with it, are self-evident. I said so in the vid right up front.
But I also think it is a fundamental disrespect to the people of Haiti that the full story of who they are, and our relationship with them, usually doesn't get told. This matters too.
Also, I said nothing in the vid about aid being based on merit, nor said Haiti deserves help more or less than anyone else.
Getting to know the people you are helping, and the ways you are connected, does nothing to contradict the principle that all suffering human beings deserve aid.
Maintaining equal respect for all humans does not require treating them each like faceless interchangeable automatons, and holding back from getting to know them or feeling a deeper connection to them.
Oh, I know. It just makes me uneasy to think it might be necessary for some people to be told more than "These people are suffering" in order to be convinced that they should be helped. Like it's a case that needs to be argued.
The world did not stand by and watch for decades. The US has intervened in Haiti for decades. There was a coup of the elected leader in 1991, and there's evidence the US was involved.
nice work as always, Jay, but I also want to see your take on the extreme corruption that has plagued Haiti for decades. one only has to look at it's next door neighbor (Dominican Republic) to see what a difference a good governorship can make.

I love how it didn't take ages of poverty but an abrupt disaster costing hundreds of lives to move folks.
Like 9-11 & that short period afterwards when Americans kept flags on their lawns & vehicles. Yea, we stopped caring after a couple of months.
