the car shifts quite well, never considered getting nitro till watching this... is this car your running here completely stock out of the box?.. any special requirements as far as nitro fuel etc? cheers
@JTJG94 Not on mine, as you can see in this vid, it turns with gas on!! you have to be careful though, too much speed (and it comes quick) and it won't turn anywhere, it turns best under 20mph and hugs the ground at under 10.
@badboyme21 yeh it amazing ive got one i broke remote sadly i could not put more detailed video on for that reason i made u a vid for u to watch just vist myu channel and i just upload it so it will show u around the car and diffrent peaes in detail :
to badboyme21 :) from thedragonwatcher100 :) hope u like i will upload a video
iv got this car & i love it to bits! its soo easy to clean, the car has great top end speed! just a few days ago i went to a car park which had alot of grave and stones- was blasting it around only to realise after 5mins of fun POP!!! my carb just popped off!! lolzzz
the nuts missing :S.....il have to find one now! but yea this car is GREAT! LOVE IT
I just got the road version, the BMW model. I've not even took it out yet going to run it in tomorrow. I am looking to upgrade it though to make it go quicker. Any idea where to get the parts from? I seen a guy on the net put a .25 in it .... and he broke it. lmao.
haha ive got this car, and i can rip a schumacher fusion to shreds but mine is the on road version, they good cars, just need a couple more upgradable parts on them, like better gearing, would make it so much faster
haha morrisons car park in bramley. i used to drive my rc car there all the time might go down on sunday not been in a while see wat speeds my new rc car will do. your car looks pritty sweet quite fast. is it all stock parts on it?
have you tuned it yet because my savage looks faster than that thing. i have been so interested in buying a thunder tiger tomahawk MX or VX but i can' find anywhere that sells it. i have been looking for weeks and have found nothing inside Canada or the US. can anyone help?
it's not as fast as a savage but it is a lot quicker and it isn't tuned here, this was the first run after breaking in so i had it set quite rich still. like shit off a shovel now!
this is shop near me called als hobbies type on internet it is safe to buy im going round there tmoz to buy one to get one just order and he will send.
hehe i bought my tomahawk on christmas i went out with it and started the engine up, it kept stalling so i decided to rev it up to stop it form happening and the wheel flew off and lost the nuts and bolts. we bought some new ones then i went fast round the back of a car and it crashed into the wheel braking the 2 front wheels off
It has got a lot of power for it's size, at 1:08 you can see it losing traction, and it's only just setting off! Very good 1st car and parts are pretty cheap aswell.
@Master1906 sorry for the late reply, i live in rotherham & use nitroflight models on barbot hall ind. est. good shop and would reccomend them any day, can get any parts for thunder tigers but they will probably have to order them.
i would reccomend any thunder tiger car but i think if i bought another i would buy the kit & build it myself as half the screws & stuff on mine were not tightened up properly and i had wheels falling off & allsorts....all tightened up properly now though!!
i had major trouble with starting the engine at first, as the fuel pipe wasn't tightened on properly, then when i ran the car the 2 left wheels fell off as they erre'nt tightened up properly, thethrottle arm nut came loose & the exhaust was spraying out oil from near the engine due to......you guessed it, it wasn't tightened up. i wish i'd bought a d.i.y.kit but it's running fine now.
i might do but i heard that tuning the engine to full power will cause more damage to the engine over time due to less lubrication so i'm being careful at the min. it is tempting though....
yeah, things arent that good when it starts to overheat due to being too lean... Mabye when you have used for a few months. I keep a few spare sleeve/piston/crankshaft sets alongside! I fitted a cooling fan to the cooling head, but that's only when I run it really lean, I try not to do that too often because, i have gone through my first spare set so far and don't want to keep wasting money on engine parts! I will put on some videos of mine soon, mabye when i get a micro onboard cam for it!
@dazzlerby

G1BSON737 4 months ago

@SuperGiantdouche Yes, It's stock, straight out of the box, the only extra things i had to buy were nitro fuel, glow starter & batteries.

People have said that when they are applying gas, it wont turn, and when its running, the break wont work, is this true?

@JTJG94 Oh, and it won't turn with full throttle at any speed, it will just spin

you ought to lean the fuel mixture in the engine a couple of turns and you will get tons more power!
