Get some real plants Mangroves are great they absorb and eat the nitrates and fish poop, then add oxygen to water. Best filter in the world. Add a protein skimmer if thats not enough.

really? gold fish? buy a heater and tank divider and show off some male bettas, much more appealing fish due to the fact they can be trained to do tricks in 5 minutes.

your tank is too small for 4 goldfishes. I have 3 in a 50 gallon tank, they need room to grow.

15 gallon is way to small for fancy goldfish, they can reach 8'' and common and comets can reach 18''!!!

that is so cool im doing alot of research because im trying to get a freshwater aquarium but im confused. could you maybe give me some advice? im afraid if i get some fish they will eat all the others and maybe they will all die because of some disease in the water or watever. its hard

@webespecial you could get goldfish, guppies or tetras. tetras and guppies should be in a group of 3 or more. i am warning u though, once guppies have babies, they will not stop until they die. i had this expirence with 2 males and 1 female guppy and they had 500 babies before they died.

the goldfish like cold water thing is wrong. Goldfish can survive in tropical conditions. Mostly likely it's better for them becuz the water saps most of the germs goldfish are not immune to

when u slowly let the goldfish adapt to the water temp then it's not bad for them. Anyway, it's really your choice to let goldfish live in tropical conditions. And when i mean tropical conditions i'm not sayin to put the fish in a temp of 82degrees farenheit, im just saying put in a medium warm water, that's all

They are 4, but the black one doesnt want to grow up :( dont know why! 15 gallons is to small, i think swiching to 46 :) Btw Top Fin filters are sucks, my water get clowdy soo damm fast!
