  • maybe you should learn from the basic form first

  • What do you mean? Did you judge something wrong with my performance?

I have studied and worked my way up to this form, I put alot of time into my training!

  • @9thDrunkenImmortal No offense, buy your flexibility and kicks still have much room to improve. That's why I suggested you to learn some basic form of eagle claw.

  • Thanks for the constructive criticism. Im still working on it but not sure how much more flexibility is necessary... though kicks always have room for improvement. Ive trained many basics in Eagle Claw to work up to this form, and currently working on Jui Lok Tong which is pretty tough!

    Do you train Eagle Claw?

  • @9thDrunkenImmortal I am glad to know that you did not misunderstand my opinion. I believe your kicks will be a lot faster and more powerful if you can bend your knees and then kick...but it's quite difficult to describe the movement here. I have watched Jui Lok Tong once and I deeply agree with you! When you have finished learning your Jui Lok Tong, would you mind posting it on here?

  • I know what you mean by the bend in the knees, but if you try both ways you might see that straight makes the kick smoother and heavier from a training perspective, and stretches the leg deeper. Just an opinion, try and see if you agree or not.

Jui Lok Tong is coming very slowly for me. I was told that is one of the forms that Im not allowed to post, as it was one of the treasured forms of Lau Fat Mang. I may be able to show a little if I get permission, and if I feel confident with it.

Thanks. I will try your suggestion tonight. And I know Jui Lok Tong is a very rare form, however I have seen it posted on youtube...last time I wanna post the link to you, but the comment box was not working. I will send the link to your acc. instead of here.

  • I didnt get the link, but would like to see someone else performing that form, very rare!

  • Ying Jow Fan Tzi Mun - Ng Fa Pau

    5 Leopard Fist

  • No, it means 5 Flower Leopard. That refers to the series of 5-move combinations found in the form.
