@fazedsatchel the original safety line that came along with the goggle strap mount should fit the camera hole. you can insert first a small wire to be able to insert the safety line. what i can suggest u better use the goggle mount for your helmet instead of the circular base that will more secure the camera, that is how i did at the present.
this is what i was looking for. i will be hitting close to 200mph and i didn't think the adhesive would hold. but i don't think there is any camera out there that can
is there any other way to attach to a motorcycle helmet other than adhesive? reply would be appreciated
@tjohn1986 I suggest u removed the original base adhesive and replace it with 3M Heavy duty double adhesive to be more secured but still need to put an extra strap to the camera if you do above 250kph. Take note that above that speed the velcro type lock can not withstand the air pressure and u lose ur cam without the strap.
there are only two ways u can attached the Contour HD cam to your helmet by using the Panavise suction cup or the circular base.
since that day I bought this cam, I realised that it may fall so I got the idea to put extra strap to secure it. In one occasion when I attached to the Panavise mounting cup attached ontop of my helmet, it can hold around 250kph but above that speed you need to put the strap.
@budlac yeah...the velcro was detached from its base as the bike speed is only around 160kph. common failure is the separation of the rounded base from the helmet, so I'm thinking of screwing the rectangular helmet base to my bike but the question is where to put it since GSXR600 does'nt have wide flat fairings. Will post a video of I got into powering the countour HD using the car charger I put to my bike.
Is it very week... or weak..

How did you get the safety line through the hole in the camera? Mine won't fit!
