@Janusha Okay of newer cars there is:Regal, Fusion, Corvette, CTS, STS, Charger, 300, Mustang, Camaro, Challenger, F150, Silverado, Ram, Suburban, Escalade, Flex, Cobalt, G8, GTO, G6, Town Car, Crown Victoria, Caprice, Taurus... All of the 1930's to 1970's and even some of the later American cars and truck rocks. @Janusha Well unlike you I have been to America a lot, and yes there ARE a lot of good new American cars. The Chevy Malibu we had in USA last summer was light years ahead of almost any new FWD sedan you could buy in Norway today. Even way better than my fathers Mazda6, handling, styling, interior, fuel economy and power was great. I have read lots about America, says it is a wonderful place which it really is, just don't listen to all the crap the politicians say, they just lie.

The Malibu... while its certainly one of the better ones out of americas current bland selection of cater-for-all squeeky plastic for the flagwaving masses, its certainly no competition for any foreign brands. And the Malibu isn't marketed in Europe because it isn't made for Europe, roads and driving in Europe is way different than in America, which is why European cars doesn't work well in US. I know plenty of people who would love to have an American car, but it is because they can't afford one! getting a car with over 100 horsepower in Norway is only for the extremely few rich (loan)

The GMC Yukon is the best Full-Sized SUV available. It has more power (sometimes twice as much) as some commercial duty vehiclesm which I love. It also has almost 10K towing.

Also applies to the Tahoe/Suburban.

honestly i dont get it to much either...there really use to be a big difference between gmc and chevy cars, but now the yukon is identical to the tahoe. Anything you cant get on a yukon you can get on a tahoe.....same interior ,etc. Cadillac is the only one they distinguish from the group. They can get that nice 6.3L engine! Personally though the tahoe has a meaner look to me which i prefer over the yukon.....just picked up a 09 tahoe blk/blk 7k for 31k

Because cadillac hasn't quite entered the same cache level as bimmer/benz/etc, they need to gradually pull their customers into the higher level of luxury as opposed to creating such a great gap between their luxury models and their regular models.
