As long as I remember myself, I have a hobby in ALL KINDS OF TRANSIT including PATH. Believe me, I never knew that PATH is so strict with filming. I sincerely appologize that I did it.
And ... in future I will not do any filming in PATH.
At NYCT the law is your not allowed to film anything MOUNTED ON A TRIPOD.That said some of us (workers) don't like to be filmed by anyone including the media because we don't know the person filming us or where the film will end up.Personally I don't want my image plastered all over the evening news while the media depicts transit workers as "union thuggs" ect..
They have a stupid rule against photography that is being challenged by the ACLU. Since you took the video and got away no need to remove it from here.
i would like to say im sorry i asked a pa cop and he said they no they wont take your cam.when u go in to the refresher course every year that they have you do this year they said cams can get taken but we were told wrong.on a side note im now being trained to be a conducter see you on the train
Haha, that's a great big lie and you know it. As a station agent for PATH you have no right to touch his camera. Tramrunner, don't listen to this guy at all.
I was a PATH P.I.A. myself and, No! We were not authorized to take any cameras from anyone. All we can do is ask them to stop clicking and filming, as what we were instructed during orientation.
I seen a port authority cop take a camcorder.. I don't know why but port authority cops arent regular cops either they got a lot of power since theyre always on high alert
These are old subway trains?
