yes, its a beautiful city, but i dont think this video show all the beauty it has to offer. If you want to visit Trondheim you should go to places 15min with the bus outside the centrum of the city also! You'll find many nice places to camp and enjoy the view.
Thank you very much for uploading this nice video, which brings back so many good memories. I used to walk along Solsiden and Verftsbrua on my way to my job.
didn't Nidarosdomen fit in?... I watched the other fims of yours: they're quite good but too fast to enjoy them as travel films. Mind the discursiveness of the shooting, as well. Nice places though:)
The video is nice, yet personally i would have made it a bit less fast, and would have included a bit more, rather than several shots form the same place, theres so much to see in Trondheim. But it is also interesting seing the same thing from many perspectives too.
Not that bad! But then: chosen music is too melancholic to make its combination with the grey sky pretty; there's little dynamic in the film about this modern city (it looks pretty "fragmental" sometimes - just photos!) and...the raw of romantic houses on the top of the hill (2:32) didn't get an much attention.
Big-Trondheim have 240 000 people and is the third biggest city in Norway. And Trondheim is the fastest growing city in Norway after Oslo. In 2009 Trondheim did get the price for being the most beautiful city in Norway. I am from Trondheim and I am really proud of it! I hope you that is reading this will someday come and visiting my city.
among the places of d world i have been, i consider Trondheim is the best. its d cleanest place with fine & great people, great food. They value their historical & cultural heritage. Its the best & safest place to visit and live. its a peaceful place..i want to visit here again & again & again.
Trondheim is far away from the Arctic Circle, its not close at all, and in the winter its the same tempature in Trondheim as it is in Germany (northern, west) Its the hottest place in Norway because of Gulfstream
Hey, I live in London. And I have visited Norway 3 times, in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. I think clearly that Trondheim's finest. Trondheim has so much to offer, be Nidaros Cathedral, Tyholt Tower and much more ... I liked not Oslo in particular, but it is a great city with fine people. Bergen is terrific, but not the whole store as Trondheim. It is no coincidence that I and my family have been in Norway 3 times, the finest country in the world. :)
im so happy to hear you say that! i live in Trondheim and im proud of my city and country! And i agree Oslo is a haven for crime and drugs..as well as immigration. But Trondheim is still safe, but only just..
You really think that? Wow. I've spent my whole life living in Norway. Some years by the fjord in a small town and the rest in Oslo. And I can't wait to finish my studies and get the heck away X) But I suppose that's the same for anyone, anywhere.
Personally, London is my favorite European city :)
I'm from Tromsø, I tend to be in Trondheim in the summer, it is a fantastic city with great people. It is a great city that has much to offer, as the Nidaros Cathedral, Norway's greatest building. visits Trondheim, it is worth it!
However in my opinion as Norwegian and inhabitant in Trondheim, it is rather far away from the Arctic Circle. As for the time being it isn't even really cold here, even though it's late December.

The building in the background at 1:46 ....is this the old Trondheim Mechanical Workshop (TMV) of Trolla Brug notoriety?
Your video and music have a nice easy feel, but would agree with slowing down the pace. Thank you

No, Trondheim have about 168 000 people!
Bergen has about 240 000!
Kakespiser1 3 years ago
Yes, but Big-Trondheim is inclued Stjørdal, Malvik and Melhus. Thats because this area is growing together to one city!
mecantgo 3 years ago
Stjørdal isn't even in the same "fylke".
Malvik is it's own commune. I live in Trondheim, and have never heard the word "Big-Trondheim".
Kakespiser1 3 years ago
Maybe you have heard about Stor-Trondheim then? If you see, you see that there live people everywhere neraly between Trondheim and Stjørdal.
Soon they will be one community.
