I personally think it's better than first person shooter. Plus in games like call of duty, it's hard to have a good time because it's open mic and a lot of brats like to shout over the mic. You find that Socom has more interaction and tactical prowess. With that said, you get some people that hog the mic too, but you will find the dramas in Socom very funny and annoying at the same time. That's why people call it SoCrack. Addicted to the gameplay and the people within it.

COD4 is a great game, but NOT tactical. Its basically like "Thats ny guy, if you kill him i kill you" but in socom its like " corner him ill be in there for backup" Ive always found socom better when being with at least 1 other person.

Its funny that this video is better and more in-depth than any video Slant Six has released. For all the people that are signed up for the beta, dont get your hopes up for a midnight release. PSN has never updated there store after midnight (That I Know Of). You also have to realize the time zone differences. So if it is a midnight release it might be before 12 P.M. or after 12 P.M. depending on where you live.

Socom is the last respectable shooter for me, every other game as gone to respawn only, regenerating health and radar to tell you exactly where a enemy is even if you couldnt see him otherwise. Basically the noobification of shooters started in Halo 2 to appeal to newer players. It sucks! No respawns make the game a million times better its more intense that way! Respawn its just charrrrrrge and if u die oh well you respawn. Dieing in no spawn can cost ur team the win!
