if i ever win the lottery im buying all these old cars and giving them to the true car guys who care about them instead of the people who buy them just to make a quick buck, this stuff is so overpriced now that only the rich can afford them but the people who actually fix them can't.
@AsocaDiez agreed! :) and i am short of helping them because i hapen to own an old 1974 dodge charger (like all cars it has its own story) it is in good shape and i am gonna keep it alive as long as i can. i love them!
Dude I wanted to make a FLAP montage. Did you buy chance see the complete, I would guess mid to late 40's tow truck. It was complete and it had a manual winch on it. It was awesome. I hoping to get either that one or a complete 49 ford I found. I soent 4 hours there this past summer checking it out. Oh did ya hear its up for sale for a cool 14 milion. Wanna go in half with me. I had a cabin on fench lake for 20+ years and never once went inside that place. Biy was I missing out.
i've been to this junkyard a couple of times. it's fun just to take the time and look at everything. i hope they never get rid of this place. it's the best junk yard i've ever been to.
@ndown15 Yes that car is worth saving looks like a 64 maybe a 65 the 4 door would make a good doner I got a 2 door 65 chevelle myself not a ss but its all original no rust still cool
Keep your heads held high all you cars. You're not there because you're failures or worthless. You had good full lives and you served your owners well for years Im sure. Now's your time to rest, think of it as retirement.. just never feel worthless.
Yes sorry this "video" "pictoral" started out for myself, I was just playing with windows picture maker and made this "collage". Yes I love the 65, so most of the pictures are of that car. I thought the music was good, just found that as well, I did the video in about 10 minutes, so not a lot of thought went into it, but for those who liked it I am glad, for those who didn't I am sorry.....
i go to french lake all the time u need to go and look for yourself they have cars in storage u must ask about love this yard been going for 20 years i have got cars and parts from here the place to make a rat rod is here check it out big blocks still in cars poster by DLeeEsaw@gmail.com good hunting

hellomcflyy. ....the first car you see there is the most full. Many others are quite empty, but there are a few that had old pop bottles and what not. And quite the opposite, I wouldn't laugh at something like that you are talking to a person that gets it.....I will get there again in a month or two hopefully , it is an hour and 20 minutes away. SO I will look and let you know if I find anything, that does not have mouse damage.
hmm - the junkyard I went to - the cars were pretty empty - but these look like they have a lot of junk in them - do you go here a lot ....Im looking for (don't laugh) like....1970s-1990s wrappers and chip bags and fast food stuff....etc - feel like making a few bucks?.....
These are from the last time they built cars for body style sake, nowadays these new cars are built for gas efficiency and basically Ipods on wheels! All a car has to do nowadays is get 32 miles a gallon, have a good stereo, and some fancy rims, and its sold!
Thank barrydawoodsman. The place is too huge for coverage. I have been there many a time in the summer and winter. Rust never sleeps! I should get some more photos this fall and make another montage. Thanks for checking out my vid!
Cool, now if you come back in the summer time with your camera we could enjoy even more! I be willing to bet most of these have a big rust problem from all the snow... they need huge tents like at the az auctions to keep these beaters under... right ? nice video
fd1836 Is windy hill that good, the website really doesn't show that many cars, is it comparable to french lake in terms of variety of cars and quantity?
