My favorite scene from this movie, which never fails to bring a tear: the morning after the fire, when they hear everyone gathering in their back yard to come by and donate all the supplies and manpower that might be needed to start over. An incredibly moving scene, and so well written and directed, that they even put a tough of humor into it ("... an' a quart of green paint!"). Everyone should see this movie at least once!
I give it two thumbs up!!! This was such a funny movie. Claudette Colbert at her finest. What an amazing actress she was. Such talent and grace. You don't find great actresses like this nowadays. This movie is definitely worth watching.
