You will not be able to online battle with the vita using 3g...uses way too much bandwidth...thats common sense..you will be able to download stuff..browse internet etc..no online play for big games sorry guys

(clears throat) 3g theoretically speaking... 3g is capable of online multiplayer... i used to tether my 3g capable hd2 and was able to play online no problem... lag a few times but so does xbaox at times... to say that there is "no 3g data plan that supports that kind of bandwith is"....well... to be nice, just not true. having a good connection in the city with 3g will do just fine... now if sony supports i guess is another deal.......

Got the 3DS for nostalgia, 3D (not paying for a 3D TV and I already wear glasses for shortsightedness) and better game lineup (obviously not at launch. It had a terrible launch lineup. Vita offers nothing NEW to me in terms of gaming (other than 3G but that's expensive and laggy as shit). Again Sony is just rehashing and improving ideas. Nothing new to see here. And hardcore gaming is better left to consoles. No portable experience is going to match the hardcore console experience ever.
