I do this with Diffre t socks I buy and also add a tail ears and hat and face and have a sock monskey

i have a really cute one i just made yesterday

fist stuff a sock with stuffing then tie a ribbon around it's neck.(this will be a scarf)

sew the end so the stuffung wont get out make clothes and put them on her take the thumbfrom a mitten and stuff it too then hot glu it where you want the arms hot glue (or sew) buttons for eyes stuff the fingers o the mitten and hot glue them to the bottom put some yarn (or doll braids) tuchen insice of her hat give her a smile and rosy cheeks now ur done!!!

Thank you so much for asking and watching! Yes the head is actually the toe part of the sock. And yes run a stitch or two through the neck. It keeps the head steady. I know you will have fun with this. I did. I will try to someday post an actual video.

Do you cover the ball for the head with the toe of the sock? and when you say run a stitch through the neck do you mean just push the needle and thread all the way through all the way around? LOL sorry im a total novice with sewing! This looks really simple though and I really want to try!
